$300+ paperweight

Prestige Large 3D crystal photo is near invisible in daylight. Nothing like the contrast of their advertised photos. They sent a LED base which did some good but the photo became grainy, and from the side 3D view, looked like sandblasting, very grainy. And the LED must be plugged into a USB port so that severely limits the placement of the crystal. Although 3D did respond initially, once they were unable to correct, or indicate they even could correct, the problem that was the last I heard from them. 3D did nothing to solve/correct the problem. Their hefty return fee on engraved items and postage turned their product into an expensive paper weight.

Flawed work

3D Innovation - Flawed work
I ordered a crystal at the Brea CA Mall location to give as a Christmas gift and when i picked up the crystal a noticed that the subjects had halos on top of their heads. My assumption is that the photo was not vertically centered correctly. I went to the store and spoke to Avi who agreed that occasionally there are problems and he agreed to call his corporate office to correct the problem. I've called him back four times and he just keeps giving me excuses, telling me that he forgot to follow up or call back. You would think that after ruining a Christmas gift he would quickly rectify the problem but instead he keeps dodging me and playing games. I either want a new crystal or my $340.00 (262.96 plus 75.00 for light) back. What a scam.

You should contact the customer support on their website. I had the total opposite experience online at the main office.

They went out of their way to be helpful and to help me pick the picture that would look the best. It came out beautiful.

Resolved: 3Dinnovation Total Scam

Update by user Sep 19, 2016

This issue has been resolved to my satisfaction. CS was very helpful.

They took my $300 up front for what I thought would be a beautiful item. When I went to pick it up, it was totally blurry and gray in color. There was no detail or contrast throughout the whole picture. When I complained Murat (the salesperson) told me the photo was blurry to begin with. If I was told this might happen I never would have bought it. The back of the sales slip states that the beautiful items on display were created from high quality photographs, and yet they take digital photos from cell phones, without telling the consumer it won't be high quality. I liked the concept of their product but it turns out to be a total scam. The salesman, Murat, never divulged that this would happen with a digital photo from my phone. It was only after I paid for it and went to pick it up that he told me the digital photo was blurry to begin with. I requested a refund but have yet to hear. This company hides the fact that the photo needs to be a quality hard copy photo to get the desired results. It just doesn't work with a digital copy from a cellphone!

3-d Innovation Bad Experience

3D Innovation - 3-d Innovation Bad Experience
In Sept. 2015, I was shopping at Willowbrook Mall in Wayne NJ. I spotted the 3D Innovations kiosk and decided to stop. The young lady (Karen) who greeted me was enthusiastic about the products and rightly so, they're beautiful - clear plastic cubes and various other shapes that display a photo (a hologram) inside of it. I bought one for my first granddaughter and had to do layaway as I didn't have the $150 + tax. I made a $50 payment. The layaway expiration date was 12/23/15. She stated I have until that date to pay in full. After that, I couldn't go back to make a payment as I had a lot of car repairs and other financial obligations. I made it on 12/11/15. One of the young ladies there made a comment about it being a long time since I had been there so she referred me to a young man there. I paid him another $50. The young man apologized and said it looked like it hadn't been sent out to be made yet and that he would make sure it gets submitted as the expiration is close. He told me to come back the following week. I went back on 12/18/15 to pay it off and pick it up. They couldn't find it. Karen (the one who took my order in Sept) was there and commented on the fact it was purchased so long ago. Why did they keep commenting on how long it has been when the layaway hadn't expired? To take $100 of my money and not submit the order is so beyond my comprehension. The young man asked me to resend the picture (what if I didn't have it?) and they would send it out for sure this time then come back on Tues, 12/22, to pickup and pay the last $50. It seemed I was being penalized for having let some time go by (not on purpose) before coming back even though it was not past the expiration. If time is an issue, then don't make the expiration date too far in advance. This is, by far, one of the worse experiences I've had esp. with such a high-priced item! Karen wasn't apologetic at all, was dismissive and impatient with me, which was surprising being she was so pleasant when I initially made the purchase. Be careful where you decide to invest time and money because that beautiful item may not be worth the headache.
