I had great experiences using 24 hr Arctic Services
I own a home in South Anchorage. I first crossed paths with JD on a weekend. My pilot light on my Mclain boiler had blown out when I had a man door in my garage left open (while that door was being replaced). My house was pretty cold when I woke up. JD walked me through the process of safely relighting the pilot light over the phone, and saved me a weekend overtime call out. After that good experience, I had a pressure gauge on the same boiler start leaking, so I called JD. He sent his guy Jerry out, and he did a real good job on installing a new pressure gauge. The bill was very fair. Based on those two good experiences, I called JD when I needed a new high end Delta faucet installed in my kitchen. He sent Jerry out again, and Jerry did an excellent job for a fair price. I have been impressed with the honesty, integrity and quality of work performed by 24 hour Arctic Services. I plan on using 24 hour Arctic Services again for any plumbing issues that come up. Grant

I came across these reviews by accident and am completly shocked. JD has worked for me for years. Never has anything like this happened to me. There was a couple of times I had an issue and he took care of them right away. I did read the terms here and it looks like you cant change your post once its up. So I am sure JD took care of those by now. He is a really hard worker. Well I am bummed he has always done right by me. I read the comments and it looks like some of these are fakes.

Always wants more money to do more things that are not needed
This guy is horrible. Stay very far away. Seems to be crooked and always wants more money to do more things that are not needed. When you disagree with him he’ll make it fail anyway. I would sue but I’m too busy. Be advised: do not use his services. He had to come back several times to fix the problem and even created more when he did. While he was working he had to make a lot of trips to the hardware store. He knew what the job was he should have been prepared. I had to hire someone to come in behind him and fix what he messed up.

24hr Arctic Services or 24 hour couldn't finish the job
I went through his employee and they ended no show or call back, because the work didn't come out good. So I contacted JD and he came out and said he will fix it in 2 days. We had so many problems with his other employees I set rules, they have to leave after 5 pm but can come in very early. They didn't show up early and ended up staying after 5pm. He stated my tenant was trying to sabotage the work so he quit. They did take my $ though. I had to hire another company to come in and fix some of his plumbing since he didn't do it right. The tub he picked out was to small so I had to come up with something since there was a 2 in. gap from the tub to the flooring. He did not hard plumb it in so the other company came in and did it correctly. He had an excuse for a lot of the problems he never wanted to say yes my company came in and did it incorrect.

I would sue but I am too busy? How about I never did any work for you?
So sue away. Just so everybody knows anybody can come on here and say anything. You cant come back on or edit your comments in any way. As the contractor, in order to officially respond, you have to pay the site to do so.
So hench the site blackmails you into paying.
So your competitors can come on here make comments. Such as this guy.
