1 of 4

We contacted them about a ac unit for our trailer to move our dogs across USA from the east coast, I specifically said we are going to extreme temperatures in AZ that get 118 degrees to 122 degrees so I need something that will hold up to those temperatures. After all said and done, generator they sold me for over $2000.00 will not run in over 86 degree weather which states right on it. The outdoor speaker light was melted to *** within 1 week... Do not under any circumstances bring your RV, or any other equipment, to Jacksonville Camping World for service. We were driving through and needed an oil change on our nearly spanking new 15 Vista and a scheduled wheel bearing re-pack on our tow dolly. We got it in. They said come back in three to four hours. Four hours later, the service boss said they had the right front wheel bearings of the RV out, but they didn't have a replacement seal... Read more

Bought a 2000 Georgie Boy Cruise Master. I found it on their site, The unit was in Council Bluffs,IA and I live in Dyer,IN. I called and talked to Bevin in sales. I asked her what condition the unit was in with 43,000 miles. Bein told me she would check into it and call me back. I told here my main concern was brakes and tires. She called me back and said all is good tires like new and as far as the brakes go that Camping World would not let a... Read more

ATTENTION ALL GEORGIA RESIDENTS, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM CAMPING WORLD IN THE STATE OF ALABAMA. You will end up being forced to pay addition taxes with you own county taxes and tags office to get the tags for your new camper/rv. They will not include your counties taxes in the financing even when they say they will do so. And they will not even pay it out of their own pocket to honor the agreement. ATTENTION ALL GEORGIA RESIDENTS, DON'T BUY... Read more

I recently inquired about a 5th wheel in Columbia SC. Was wanting to trade in a '15 5th wheel. Dealer offered me 20,000 trade. Was not pleased. Didn't continue the deal. A few days later went to Camping World in N.Charleston. I again inquired about the same make and model as I had looked at in Columbia. Better price. Since I had bought my current 5th wheel from this location I figured I'd get a better offer on my trade. BUT instead they offered... Read more

Took my 1987 E250 Fiesta camper van into Jacksonville Florida, Camping World. My house battery was not getting recharged. Everything in the house worked on 12 and 120 volt. I was told I needed a new inverter and was charged over $600. Took it back when it was still not charging. After a 2hr wait I was told this model did not recharge the battery. $69 to be told this. So why did they sell me another inverter then? New inverter does... Read more

We currently have a 5 year old trailer that has some issues with it. We took it to our local camping world to have them tell us how much to fix the issues. They came back with about 2K worth of cost to fix the issues. I told them that I really would like to look at maybe trading our trailer for a new one but before looking at the first trailer it would all depend on how much they would give me for our current one. The sales Manager came and... Read more

Took to Camping World Kingston NY on July 11, 2015, my 2009 Jayco Designer 5th Wheel for repair of damaged wheel to end of trailer external body work due to tire blow out. Told it would be a quick 4-6 week fix. It is now October 18, 2015 and never touched, as it sits on lot now with freezing temperatures and water still in tank and lines, not winterized. Two representatives come and gone. Mike in service refuses to return calls. Better Business... Read more

Do NOT go there!!! Awful customer service!! Waste of time! We left our camper there to get serviced with warranty and it has been months and still have not heard from them after leaving a voicemail few times a week! I will never go there again and I don't not recommend anyone to either!! Bad company! I do not like this company and would not trust them! Brought camper there mid July and I understand it may be a busy time. Not asking for much, but... Read more
