My husband went to this store for an eye exam only to be told he had an eye infection, told to get eye drops to keep them moist and then sold glasses. The glasses were the wrong prescription, due to the eye infection, and he kept going back to ask for help. The sunglasses came first and the lenses kept falling out. The regular glasses came two weeks later and those lenses kept falling out. It took another week for the store to ‘reshape’ the lenses so they wouldn’t fall out of the frames. When he returned again to tell the manager something still wasn’t correct and he was getting headaches and everything was blurry, he was told ‘it takes a while to get use to them.’ He spent hard earned money and ended up having to go to another doctor to get treatment for an eye injury the ‘doctor’ at VisionWorks missed. He didn’t even need new glasses. But, he didn’t find out until after a thirty day money back guarantee because the manager kept putting him off. It then took months to get to a specialist that could find the problem and another month of calling the manager and corporate to get any refund back, but they only reimbursed part of the bill. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of people, not refunding the full amount and being so dishonest and rude through the process. Only one customer service person in that whole company took ownership of the problem and tried to help.
I’ve been typing reviews, one for each time I called Visionworks to get some help. Didn’t want to post them and have this horrible company keep the money they promised to refund. This started back in April of 2012!. I received a partial refund eight months later after calling the corporate office every day for a month/. The Greeley Mall VisionWorks should change the sign to read Vision Dorks". I would love to know how many of those people would handle hundreds of dollars of their hard earned money floating around for eight months after the ‘doctor’ missed an eye injury, the glasses kept falling apart and when I did get treated for the eye injury by real doctor, he told me the glasses had no prescription in the lenses,. Unbelievable".
This store number is 497;. You’ll need that when you have to call corporate visionworks at 1-800-669-1183, to get any help to fix what this store messed up;. There are some great people like Josh and Tina and Don and Joanne that will do their best to help you, but if you get Jackie or Joslyn – hang up'. Visionworks should apologize for hiring such obnoxious people as Adam, Yesimina, Jackie and Joslyn.
