Cruise fare on website..way different than the rep quoted. Every excuse in the book she gave me. Thank God I didn't book with them..I will encourage everyone I know to say away. I don't know how this co continues to be in business. Alan the owner/manager I assume is IMO a scam artist he sends emails indicating oh all is ok..sure it is. I suppose we as consumers are all subject to these scam...
After reading other comments I am very sorry that I did not research this company before doing business with them. After receiving confirmation three times fron VTG on pricing for a family reunion cruise I moved our paid cruise from one agency to VTG because they offered pricing per person @ $150 less per person. They presented the same price and written commitments to book our cruise at their...
In all fairness to Vacations to Go I have waited several months before posting my own personal negative experience in hopes there would be some satisfactory outcome to my situation but surprisingly no, there is no happy ending to my story. My friends shared with me their vacation plans on board an NCL trip departing Copenhagen this summer and invited me to come along. I was so pleased to find the...
My wife and I booked a Western Mediterranean criuse for this coming September 1023. Mr Nick Fieman was a very helpful rep. We contacted him via e-mails and phone and he always answered the e-mails immediately and was very helpful on the phone. What he offered us was true we got a Concierge Class cabin (C2) with veranda on Celebrity Reflection and got a massive discount as a retired airline...
My family and I were trying to get a good price deal to Punta Cana Dominican Republic,we are 6 total-4 kids between the ages 2,4,15,17 and of course my husband and I. The first time i called i was very happy with the qoute and information and very happy with the Agent..so i still needed time to do reserch on prices, hotels etc..i knew the price was going to change a little bit but it was ok...

I was a vacation to go customer. we are hooked on cruising. I pulled up a cruise only.com page and looked for rooms because you cannot do that with VTG. I found the rooms I wanted and the price was great so being loyal I called VTG to book because I had already done two cruises thru them. The guy I spoke with put me off on the $400 per room credit and said we would handle it after we were done...
Vacations To Go touts a Price Match Guarantee that promises "if you ever find a lower price for the same ship, date and stateroom category, before booking, we'll match it". The fine print says "The lower rate must be advertised on a competitor's website and available for booking at the time you contact us". On finding a clearly advertised and available price on a competitors website I took it to...
Vacations To Go lies, cheats and steals from its customers. In trip out of Galveston, they misrepresented charges and refused to give any type of refund, (see other complaints about them at www.ripoffreport.com) relating to this incident. They stole from a rival cruise co by having one of their, VGT reps fraudulently collect emails from cruisers & then use this info to email blast these cruisers...
I booked a cruise through vacations to go on the Queen Victoria from dec.21 2011 till jan 4 2012 Los Angeles-Hawaii-Los Angeles. I paid 5150$US for an inner cabin(the cheapest on the house)traveling alone. On the boat people talked different items, between them, prices. I learnt on board that I was the person who paid MORE than anyone else. Examples: one lady from Germany, traveling alone,...
