USPS - Used Forever stamp and it took forever to arrive.

I mailed a 1st class letter in a #10 business envelope weighing less than one with a Forever stamp on it!.I Mailed it from Arkansas to Ohio on November 1st, 2012 and finally arrived in good condition on Jan 4th, 2013".

Now I know why they call it the Forever stamp;. Good thing it wan't a ?. They say theya re not a government opperation, but it sure is run like one!. They need to get rid of everybody and start all over with people who weren't there when it WAS a ?.

The Pony Express was like tem times faster than that|. Heck!

Things like this happen occasionally, not just with the Forever stamp. A few years ago, my sister who live 100 miles aways sent me a birthday card with a regular first class stamp on it and it took foever to get here, at least a month, and when it arrived it was all crumpled up, kind of like it had been through an old fashioned wringer washing machine. It had also been wet at some time, the reason I know this is because it was a card she had made on her computer and the different colors of ink had been wet and bled into each other and onto the envelope, even soaking through the envelope. About two months ago I received a magazine that the cover was completely torn off and some of the first pages were partially loose. The post office department had sealed it into a plastic bag with a not of apology for the condition of the magazine. Like I said, things happen.
