I have been receiving harassing calls from a supposed law firm saying that I have a outstanding payday loan that I never received or even applied for!.Finally on Wednesday Jan 9, 2013 they had someone posing as the Illinois State Police call my work phone to say call another number or there will be grave consequences if I don't call so I did'.

The first number was to a supposed National Fraud location in DC". Talking to that person was fruitless because they were not trying to hear what I had to say so I told them to do what they had to do?. Then I realized that I had a saved message from the supposed law firm who was handling the case so I called". They switched me around to at least three people before I got to someone who again was condescending, belittling, and just plain rude|.

Tried to offer me their law services, told me that they would give me a 30 minute to 1 hr extension to come up with the money, and then when I told him that I worked for an international law firm here in Chicago, he called me a liar and hung up in my face'.

I have numbers, names, and I saved the voice mails that they left on my work phone:.What can be done about these scam artists because they harass you at work, on your personal phone trying to get money that you know that you didn't receive and then they add on additional fees and stuff trying to be a legitimate business. 2fd1a6e
