I have been receiving this letter from union workers credit services for about five years now and I have noticed that they are consistently changing the address around.S.C.A.M!!!!

this is too good to be true,I have never applied for a credit card ever that i had to give up money for in order to receive it, maybe there was a fee for the card but it is usually deducted from the actual card once activated.

Save your thirty seven dollars and spend it on yourself or give it to someone in need instead of just throwing it away. 3802028

I have checked them out, and found them to be the same as any company that allows you to purchase merchandise on credit. Finger-hut and RAC being in that group as well.

I received one of these letters today myself. I performed a check on Bing and found your site and their own. First I checked out yours and then I checked out theirs.

Firstly, it is not a regular credit card. It is a "site card". It can only be used on their site to purchase goods. Which I'm sure are marked up to well over what you would pay anywhere else. It brings to mind places such as Fingerhut, Seventh Avenue, etc.

According to their site, you can take the $37 you pay in credit off your first purchase as well. However, since the items are probably marked up 200% that isn't going to be much of a savings.

Unfortunately since they are actually offering you the credit, and even "refunding" the $37 on your first purchase, even though it is a scam, you cannot get them for mail fraud. It even states in small print on the bottom of the letter that it is not an all-purpose credit account and can only be used for purchases made on their site.

We got taken like all the rest of you did, thank God it was only $37.00. I am a 100% disabled Veteran, and I hope who ever gets that money will change it into pennies and stick them up his or her ***. Then they will know what it feels like to be disabled. I guess this is their way of saying thank you. I'll bet they all wear those funny hats!!!!

I received one of these pre-approvals the other day. I mailed my reply to them today. I thought I would have a little fun with them since I did not inivite their scam. I sent them (in their return postage paid envelope) a gift of my own. I typed up a note that my form of payment is valued much higher than a check for 37.00 since they can sell it on Craigslist or Ebay. I sent them a used panty liner enclosed inside my letter. When they open the letter a special gift will fall out on them. I wouldn't normally do this, but after reading how so many people got burned, I thought it was well deserved. I don't know how this came to mind, but I find it hilarious. Why not send them a snotty kleenex or some used toilet paper, or in my case a worn panty liner? They're trying to steal your money, right? I only wish I could be a fly on the wall when my return envelope is opened!

I also received the same letter today 02/04/13, but these *** think we can all be victims of their filthy lies, firstly no bank offers credit $ 10,000.00 asking you to send them a check or money order in advance by the annual fee credit card, promising a refund of those $ 37.00 after should not be approved credit card. Secondly if this is an annual fee to have that credit card why they offer a refund of $ 37.00 when you make your first purchase? This deal is a big scam, I wish all these people dedicated to defraud, authorities caught and never let them out of jail.

I just got the same letter about paying a fee of $37 dollars to recieve $10,000 in the mail on yesterday. This is really too good to be true! Why should I have to send a money order or check to recive a pre-approved credit card. People will do anything to get over on others. They should be ashamed of themselves. Texas have alot of scamsin transition. I received a call stating that I got an online loan....Lol! Not! These people posed as lawyers and told me they were trying to pull money out of my account. Since they were not able to with draw funds from my account, they said I had to pay the money or they were going to take me to court. I did research, contacted my bank, then my lawyer to cover all basis in case this was an identity fraud case. How are people able to get certin data and how can people do things of this sort?

:( It's not hard to get anyones info online, even down to ones ss#. There are places online where you can pay to get anyones info. This should be ilegal! For example, doing a back-ground check on someone shows everything even down to places you use to live and even previous marriages. Why doesn't the law get involved? To busy eating donuts? This is how Identity theft begins in the first place. I to recieved one of those letters. Also if you mail a check to them at the bottom of that check is your banks routing number, they get that and your screwed, next thing you know your bank account will be empty! I wish I had some counterfit money because I would send it to them and when they carry that somewhere to pay for something, ha, I bet they wouldn't send out anymore bogus letters unless they do it behind bars for using counterfit money! Thanks everyone for your posts it saves people and their integrity... God bless each and everyone... Sorry for any mispelled words. "Love all" :)
