I engaged this company to tutor my son for a university resit at a cost of £120 plus a £60 registration fee totalling £180. They have debited my bank account with £655 but did it in small amounts so I wouldn't notice straight away.
They do not answer the phone or respond to e mails. My bank The have been really unhelpful and will not consider this a as I gave the company my (naive to say the least).
It also took the Bank 2 months to respond to my query. I will now report Godiva/UA Tutors to the Police.
My son was not impressed with the tutor either! 3132484

About 18 months ago I was contacted by the person who runs UA Tutors/Godiva to do quite a bit of maths tutoring for an engineering student of engineering. When I tried to get paid I was first fobbed off with a sob story about how he was just recovering from Cancer (but he had been very prompt in billing the student), then with a request to send in the bill to another company and finally just silence. I've been so busy doing other things that I have let this slide. But now I know for sure that he's still trading I shall go through the small claims process. So thank you for reminding me to pursue this.
