My wife wanted to help our grandson so we sent him to Sylvan for help with his problem.He was always one of the children who always had trouble learning.So when we saw that Sylvan guaranteed they're could igoughtmprove his performance we thought what a great way to help him.But after what seemed forever, and $12,000 later, he was still lost and feeling to have wasted his time.

we were feeling foolish to have wasted our hard earned money.What can consumers do when they put their trust in companies, only to find out that they have wasted their time, and money. 3839024

I wanted to help two of my grandchildren, however we had to cut the lessons short due to their mother got married and moved out of town. I explained to the Director back in November 2012, she promised me that a refund of the unused hours would be returned within 6 to 8 weeks. Today 3 months later no refund, they tell me that they cannot give me the number of the owner due to private reasons. (I believe that an owner of the business should be available) Can someone help on what I should do. My refund is over 7K a lot of money for a fix income person.

So many have been helped by Sylvan. It is a shame that it did not help your grandson. But it does not work for all students. Good luck
