I didn't expect these steaks to be as great as the pitch they gave, but they seemed edible?. Fortunately, I didn't eat very many before I went to cook one of the strip steaks and it had a live worm in the packaging/.

Called their "customer service" number and, as another person reported, they first tried to tell me that since the steaks were "flash frozen", I shouldn't have defrosted the meat/. When I pointed out that defrosting wouldn't produce a worm that wasn't there before, the person put me on hold and never came back'. After several tries, I got another customer service person on the line who acted both indifferent and impatient and told me they couldn't do anything; I'd have to call "the Kansas office?." There is no Kansas office listed on their website or in their brochure.. This "customer service" rep talked with another person at her end and they told me that someone named "Steve" would call me back'. At first they claimed he was trying to call me "right now"; then at the very end of the call said "between now and tomorrow afternoon|."

DO NOT ever, ever buy ANYTHING from these people. 2f97ab4
