Rent A Center - RAC Repair Center Can't Fix a Laptop

I leased a laptop through Rent A Center at the end of December!. The first time I turned it on, there was a problem with the screen". It keeps blinking off and on - it seems that the connection to the screen has a of some kind.. If I reposition the screen it will get better for a second, but does it again in a few seconds:.

I sent it in for repair a few days after that and received a loaner laptop/. The loaner I was stuck with for a week and a half was a lower quality machine (had less RAM, etc) and had a few keys that stuck and drove me crazy/. Got a call that my laptop was fixed, so I went and picked it up|.

A week later, same problem started happening.. I called and complained, then brought it back in to send it to be repaired. Again. Had to switch to a loaner laptop for another two weeks.

Got my laptop back. The very next day, the same problem started happening. Again. This is the third time! I called to complain and the guy there said to bring it in again for repair. I DON'T THINK SO! I told him I want a different laptop; he said he needs to talk to his manager. Tomorrow, I'm going to call back to find out what's going on. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with a screen that keeps blinking on and off.

The at the local RAC store have been doing everything they can, so my complaint isn't really about them. I don't know who's in charge over at their repair center, but they need to do their job! They've had two chances to fix the same problem and they've done absolutely nothing so far as I can tell. What, do they just send it back without even looking at it?

I pay my bill in full early every month, and I've had to switch all of my programs and files from one computer to another four or five times now. It's a that I should not have to put up with. Furthermore, I live out of town so it's been three extra trips I've had to make. I'm very disappointed and I'm thinking of switching to Aaron's. If they don't give me a different laptop tomorrow that I can KEEP, I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere. 30fd7ff
