Readers Digest - Unwanted e-mails

Everyday for I can't even begin to tell you for how long, Readers Digest sends me emails.I have tried numerous times to unsubscribe over the internet, but to no avail.
I have called customer service twice this week, and I was assured the first time I called, my email address would be removed immediately. When I called back later in the week, the female worker stated it would take about 4 to 6 weeks to be removed. I told her I have been unsubscribing via internet now for months. She said it would just have to take that long to be removed.
Isn't this some type of harassment?It makes me nver want to subscribe to them ever. 388a21e
