Purchased a "leatherette" sectional and purchased the Platinum Protection Plan. Salesperson was fine item was delivered and so it began...

the sides looked streached and within days the pillow zipper broke and sratches started showing on the cushions. Called service they came out to look at it, "scractes are not covered", he streched the side and restapled them and sewed the zipper back together so now the zipper didnt even work. Ofcourse within days the zipper broke and now was told 14 weeks for a new pillow and zipper. Well that was supposed to be in October NOTHING!!

Called today 2/6/24 they stll havent gotten and i have to wait another 14 weeks!! terrible customer service!!

Purchased 2 recliners, issue with back flap. Purchased 1/2024, notified company, sent someone to look they took pics, after multiple calls sent replacement. Now different issue.multiple calls2/28/2024, now told I could do straight return with me paying 40% restocking fee. So, I the consumer loses hard earned $$, because their product defective. I have photos clearly showing issue! Filed complaint with BBB, Consumers Affairs, sent e-mail (2) to CEO AFTER NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THROUGH BY PHONE TO CORPORATE OFFICE. We spent over 4,000 dollars on a bedroom suit we wanted a twin bed with drawers in it. We also bought a mattress for it well I don't know what kind of mattress they sent it sure isn't twin.

I can't even get any sheets to fit it is so small I am 5'3 so there is no way my feet should hang over it is a Sealy and within 5 months it has a big dip in the middle. I had serious back surgery so the salesman knew I wanted one that would not sink, now onto the bed it has drawers but just has slabs since the mattress does not fit all the dust and dirt falls thru on my clothes, we had to order out of their book because they did not have the one we wanted in the store I couldn't even tell you what it is made of kind of looks like some plastic coating on it, PLEASE take your money and go to a good place

We purchased a 2 part sectional with 5 yr protection on 1/13/2013 with five year protection at the Ram- Flan store in Rockaway, NJ. It was delivered some time in February 2020. One motor failed in 2021. The other motor just failed on Jan 26, 2024. We need to have the second motor repaired.

Terrible customer service

I ordered $1,500 in gift cards to buy a bed as a present for my parents. Status was on backorder.

Customer service was no help to resolve this or even to cancel the order. The chat rep, James said he couldn't call over to the gift card department. I canceled the order and it was such a big deal to do this. Then I called customer service and same thing.

The rep said she couldn't call over to the GC dept because it would disturb them from helping other customers. Really! Never heard that one before.

Anyway, I canceled the order and will purchase the bed from Ashley Furniture. Raymour and Flanagan is a Joke!

I spent over $10,000 in furniture that broke & l received no help

I bought many things at once from the location in Garden City NY 3 years ago. The bed l purchased broke, l purchased their "platinum plan" which is supposed to repair or replace the item if damaged.

I filed a claim, they said it was unrepairable. I was told they could give me a fraction of the price towards a another bed. None of which the amount offered would be covered by the amount offered. I would have to put hundreds of dollars into another bed, even though the bed breaking was not my fault.

I asked to speak to a supervisor, the woman gave me an attitude & said l would get a call back within 24-48 hours. It's been over a month, l never got the call back. I have been trying to call their warranty phone number everyday for 4 weeks & nobody answers or ever returns the messages l leave. I decided to call the salesman l purchased from, Anthony Palazzo.

I was told he was on a call & put on hold for 15 minutes & then hung up on. I called back & they told me he left for the day. I asked for a manager, l was again put on hold for 15 minutes & hung up on. Now l have a useless bed frame in pieces taking up space in my house with my mattress on the floor.

A worthless platinum protection plan that cost me hundreds of dollars & nobody to help me.

I will never purchase from them again. If you are reading this stay away!!!

Awful company to work with

I would never recommend them. I purchased a living room set for $5000 2 years ago.

I have had issues with it since day one. I was told I could get a replacement for the piece that had all the issues but it was never replaced. They waited until I was out of factory warranty and into my platinum warranty before offering me a credit which has all kinds of restrictions. I also have to pay a new delivery and extended warranty out of my own pocket.

Again I have only owned this set for 2 years none of the problems were caused by us. Do not purchase anything from here.

It will be a waste of your money. They do not care about the consumer at all and only there bottom line.

Received a (defective) American Leather Sofa. Despite a protection plan, R&F has stone walled us for over 3 month with replacing it. A manager set up two meetings, then passed us off to 2 people who didn't know the problem and could not help. Then customer care thanked us for a New Order with charges and asked us to rate them on Google. Now we understand why showroom was empty.

Purchased in Oct 2022 and since then the bubbling on top has been getting worse. Tech came out said cant fix it can only be replaced but store then called and said nothing they can do. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I spent approx $10K on furniture and expect better than this. I think the BBB and reviews on social media would agree with me. Please help me get this resolved. I just want it replaced, nothing more.

My recliner stopped working, so I contacted Raymour to file a claim on my Platinum extended warranty. The issue wasn't covered, so they told me they needed to order parts, and they'd be contacting me with a total within 2448 hours.

I waited 5 days and contacted them by email, explaining the situation again. I was told that parts needed to be ordered yet again. I stated I needed my recliner repaired, and I was told the parts will be ordered, and I'll be contacted. After not hearing from Raymour for a week, I sent them another email asking about the status of the parts, and was told they needed a tag number from the bottom of my recliner, but they said the technician didn't find a tag on the bottom of my recliner and he never mentioned anything to me about a tag.

The technician told me that it needed several parts and that he'd let Raymour know, and that I'd be contacted. Raynour called me to inform me that without the tag number, they can't order the parts and that I was basically stuck. I told them that I bought the recliner from them a few months ago, and they should already have the information on my recliner because hey till sell it... (which they do), I was told a manager would be calling me.

Three days later and no call. I paid an extra $250 for this Platinum service and I'm over here wondering what is it about this service that makes it platinum...I paid north of $2,500 for this recliner back in July 2022 and it was great until something went wrong. As of today, 03/30/23 I'm now being told they want to charge me $132.86 to have another technician come out and assess the recliner to see what it needs. They've already been here two times.

Waiting on a manager to call me...Ordering parts isn't rocket science. They carry and sell this recliner so it's just a matter of getting the part sku's and ordering the parts. The sku's are in their system, THEY SELL THE CHAIR...
So much for being a repeat customer. Upwards of $8,000 in just 4 years, and this is the service they give.

**Update** 03/30/23
Spoke with rep and was told parts would be $132.81, and they agreed to split the labor costs, adding $63 to the bill. Grand total is $198.81. Paid in full. Tech is scheduled to come out on 4/4/23 between 7:30am - 4pm.

UPDATE: Raymour & Flannigan tech showed up @ 9:35am to repair my recliner. I asked why he didn't have any parts with him and he stated they were in the truck and he just wanted to look at my recliner first. He looked at it for 2 minutes and determined it need ANOTHER part. a headrest motor.

When I asked him how he came to that determination, he said "because the headrest was stuck". I told him it was like that because the recliner stopped working. I also informed him that two other techs looked at my recliner and ordered the parts I needed and they should be with him to repair my recliner. He said the parts were in his truck, and that he'd be right back.

He never returned. I tried calling his cell phone but it went directly yo voicemail. At this point, I'm disgusted and called Raymour about this. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I spoke to a service manager and explained everything and was told I'd get a call back today by 3pm.

DISGUSTED! Will update.

User's recommendation: Be very cautious when shopping at Raymour. They were always very good in the past, so this is confusing as to the drastic decline in customer care.
