This company wants me to send in $19.95 if confirmed winner to dispatch payment of $1,900,000,000 in cash and awards. I wrote a complaint to Snopes also. The company has a P.O.Box so they cant be traced. They give me 12 days to send this money in. It sounded so real since I have been entering everyday to the Publishers Clearing House and that end February 25th. At first, I thought this had something to do with that. They sure must be collecting alot of $19.95 from inocent people who dont know.

Thanks,

Martha Gonzalez

PCH DOES NOT call or email winners...EVER!!!!

If you get such a contact it is a SCAM. Please contact PCH and report it to them. they take it very seriously and do take action against these scammers best as the law will allow.

Publishers Clearing house is scamming my ninety year old mother. they call her constantly telling her to send the $85 and they will send a check for $2,500,000 by UPS.

the latest call, they claimed they were in her town and were coming to her Senior Center. Needless to say she is scared to death.

when i called them, they demanded the money and claimed they would not stop calling. the number and name they left were 661-998-****, John Mecklinberg.

Palmdale, CA.

Do not fall for the same scam. they will not stop at threatening senior citizens to continue the scam.

I was Called by a bunch from Kingston Jamaica wanting me to send a large sum of money to claim seven million dollars after several days on the computer I finally found where this was coming from I did not send them any money but these clowns just keep calling me. I have done just about everything to stop the calling including contacting the FBI, the States Attorney, and blocking phone calls (the problem with blocking phone calls is that just so many calls can be blocked).

My problem is what else can I do to stop the phone calls is there any other agency's that can be contacted to shut these people down? They seem to have many phone numbers that they can call from I have been called from at least a dozen phone numbers, they are very convincing.

I was scammed by NAAC as well... It sounded too good to be true-well it was.

I'm glad I only lost $19.99...I knew that the Publishers Clearing House had a good name and if someone won it was a suprise to them, and included NO processing fee..etc. This company should refund all their earnings from checks collected! They should be shut down! How can we make this happen besides going to a lawyer?

This is serious, people are getting victimized everyday, because of them!

Their paperwork they would send, looked legit too, which made it misleading!

Any thoughts?

There is a scam going on with someone calling to let you know that you have won a certified check for $250,000 from Publishers Clearing House. The number to call back is 206-414-****.

My husband called the number and was told that there is a #150.00 processing fee before the prize can be issued. That sounded phony right there. My husband said he would have to check it out first and was told to ask for Peter Phillips when he calls back. I called back and a James Miller answered; I asked to speak with Peter Phillips.

Right then Mr. Miller said he was Peter Phillips. Another name mentioned was John Davis. All 3 sounded like the same person.

Please do not fall for this scam. Publishers Clearing House is a good name and should not be abused by scam artists.

Question - How are winners notified?

Answer -

All PCH prizes of $500 or greater are awarded by either certified or express letter or in person by our famous Prize Patrol at our option. These awards are done as soon as all winning entries and prizes are matched. No one else - not even a celebrity - is authorized to notify you of a win in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.

More importantly, there are no strings attached to winning a Publishers Clearing House prize. There is no processing fee, tax or special handling charge required to win. Our prizes are delivered FREE of charge to the winners.
