PetSmart - Couldn't Find Original Receipt, Have Put Cats Down, Want Money Back, Used Petperks Card

I purchased Nutromax cat chow with my cc and Petperks card 11/24/12!.
Shortly thereafter, we lost one of our cats to coyotes'. We had to put our second cat down at the end of January/. Both cats were 18 and we had always bought their food and toys at Petsmart, having had a couple of Petperks cards;. We are taking a break from having pets for a while, and I tried to return the chow,. I had lost the receipt and it was 1;.5 weeks past the 60-day return date, still well within the date on the bag|. Except they should have been able to look up the purchase on the Petperks card;.
The store manager said they could not credit my cc and was willing to give me a store credit, however, since we're taking a pet break, it would be useless, I wanted my money back.
I have sent two emails to the storehelp@petsmart.com with absolutely no response.
I can assure you that when we do get pets again, I hope Petsmart is no longer in business, since I will be shifting my pet purchases to Petco. So much for the useless Petperks card. 309c873

Why didn't you use the cat food within the 60 days anyways?
And throwing in the "I'm switching to Petco" threat is only a disadvantage to you, because at least petsmart follows their own company polices. God only knows the complaints against Petco for not following their own rules...
