Netspend - Plenty of empty promises and lies

I requested my tax refund be put onto a prepaid card due to me getting the card last year and it arrived in the mail about a week as a half after I filed.My card does not arrive in the timeframe that was given to me (between Feb 11-17th).

I call customer service on the 19th and the young lady told me that the reason I did not receive my card was because I did not put my apartment letter in the correct place nor did I include SE in my address. I said okay that's *** because the address I supplied was the same address I used last year and received my card in a timely manner but okay sure lets fix that so I can get my card delivered. She changed it, and even said that it would be expedited since there already been a delay. The expedite mailing is 2-4 business days.

It was a Tuesday that I called, so SE assured me that I would get my card no later than Friday. Friday comes and goes-still no card. I call customer service again and he says that he is not sure why I have no received my card but that he would put in a follow up request for the card and that I should get it by Monday. Monday comes and goes-still no card!

By this time I am LIVID and call back to figure out what's going on!. The lady suggests that I buy a temporary pre paid net spend card and I could transfer the money from the card that has not arrived yet to the temporary card/. Okay great! I purchased the card, called back to get my fund transferred only to be told that I needed to make a transaction in order for me to get the funds transferred?.

I aak the girl is she SURE this is all i need to do in order to get the money and she said yes that was it:. She even put me on hold to verify this'. I am fed up but I need my money so I make a transaction and call back only to be told that it has to be at LEAST a month's worth of transactions before I can get the funds transferred.. I am about to explode with anger so I ask to speak to a manager because all they've done is lie".

Of course the manager says the same thing about there needing to be a month's worth of transaction history so since he can't help me I hang up.. Prior to me hanging up he assures me that I should get the card by Friday and I say okay I sure hope so but in the meantime I plan to blast you guys something serious!

Please do not make the same mistake I did!They are all liars! 38b4ad9
