Nerds On Call - Nerds costs me big time, launches web assault against me

Its a long story that is in the web but to nutshel lit, a tech of theirs started to screw up my computer?.He was fired butthey say not just for my problem---there were others/.

They continued to work on and screw up even worse my data which resulted in years worth of info lost and a photo I needed to win a large personal injury lawsuit?. In a website similar to this one, I complained and they countered with half truths?. I replied to that and now they have taken a personal stance against me, even including me in their company blogs and ending with 'We are saying that he is a (derog accusations) but the only conlusion one can make is' These people do not care who they hire.. It took WEEKS to get my computer back and its still a shell of its former self with much lost info".

Now they want to go to web war with me to try and clear their name:.

Nerds on call is flat out LYING. He is alarmed that I could do damage to his reputation with my story, and is doing damage control by personally attacking me. After he paid me back, I thought it was all over. After a web search I saw that Nerds started attacking what I had written in several consumer sites BEFORE they settled. My computer is dead. It wasnt fixed. They cost me a lot of money. They admitted to me that the first guy to work on my machine had been fired for also harming others. I have 33 years in the people service industry and am known in many states by thousands of people. I dont invent lies to cause controversy. Why would I? Nerds is run by an immature, fool who apparently doesnt care about employee quality. To do what they are doing in the internet is really professional, isnt it? And, they have shills posting on some of the sites as neutral people who are talking trash about me. Use them if you want but Im not the only complaint posted in thje internet about them.

Your complaint has been settled, we have discontinued business with you. We will defend our reputation against any attack. Your are entitled to your opinion, and we are entitled to ours. We treated you with respect, compassion and empathy. We worked with you for eight months to make you happy. Your problem was self inflicted, yet you continue to blame us. We're sorry you still feel the need to try and bully us. We have done everything in our power to help you. I hope you find a computer repair company that satisfies you.

You did not even come close to treating me with respect, compassion and empathy. Are you sure you have the correct customer in mind? You worked for all that time because you never got it right. And dont mislead---you didnt actually work all that time. And as Ive said---I have ALL conversations recorded. I have all events in a written timeline. Recording is legal in Oregon. I was assured by more than one of your people that my info wouldn't be lost. I was told that a certain picture needed for a lawsuit WAS saved. It was not. I was told you were not allowed to copy my info onto your system for security purposes yet at one point you were able to clone it all onto a clean drive FROM YOUR SYSTEM. Im speaking with an atty now to see what my rights are about making sure you no longer have my personal info. You FIRED the first guy to work on my computer. Now lets get this straight because I have proof of it. AFTER you begrudgingly gave back my money---I didnt post anything more. You then started up a defensive campaign against what Id already said. You created your blog on your site. You were so worried about my case that you went into overdrive to discredit me. I am not the only customer who has been unhappy with you, yet you have not created on site blogs about them. Why would you---having more than one unhappy customer would minimize your agressive stance toward me. I stopped posting about you. I share your frustration with this ongoing saga. However, as long as you feel the need to post about us, we will continue to defend our reputation. It is not our policy to treat you with disrespect, or unkindness, despite your propensity to insult, demean, and threaten us. We understand your frustration. Unfortunately, you are the architect of your own misery.

Every statement you have made in your complaints have been addressed in our blog post. You continue to rehash your recount of the transaction, we respectfully disagree. We have done all we can to help you, if you chose to continue to blame us for your situation, it is certainly your right, if not your predisposition. I will not take your bait and call you names like liar, scammer, or con-artist. I simply think your perception of what happened is tainted by your ignorance of how R.A.I.D. works, and your intolerance for any viewpoint other than your own.

In short, if you wish to post on every website on the Internet how horrible we are, and how we treated you scandalously, it is certainly your decision. We will follow you, and post our thoughts and recollections of the events. When we are unable to comment, or when we have more to say, we will make blog posts and tell our side.

There is a reason beyond pride that fuels us. On a weekly basis, we service over 1,000 customers. In the year since we fixed your computer, we have serviced over 50,000 customers.

I originally posted this comment hours after this post went live. However, I had a link in the message, so the admins removed it. Here is what I wrote:

Nerds On Call doesn’t just give good customer service; we give exemplary customer service. We will do anything to make a customer happy. The following story ranges eight months. In it we repair Marvin Von Renchler’s computer multiple times.

In April 2012 Marvin Von Renchler tried to speed up his own computer by removing items in his computer’s registry. During this process he accidentally breaks his computer, and brings it to a local computer repair store. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix his machine, so he called us. We recover his data, reformat his hard drive and reinstall his operating system. We return to him a perfectly working machine. He is so happy with our service he tries to tell everyone he knows how great we are. Three months later during a follow up call Marvin Von Renchler tell us he’s having a problem opening some JPG files on his desktop. With some investigation we determine the issue is he, or someone else, attempted to set up a R.A.I.D. on his machine, virtually destroying his data. We spend the next few weeks rebuilding his data bit by bit. We recover most, if not all, of his data, reformat his hard drive, and reinstall Windows. We don’t actually charge Marvin Von Renchler for the new work; instead we work on the machine for free, in order to provide awesome customer

You are misinforming the public. I have all of everything your people said to me on tape. You screwed up and just be a man and admit it or just go away.. I had stopped even thinking about you after you gave back my money. YOU started it all up again by trying to discredit me in the internet.
