MIRACLE EAR HEARING AIDS - Poor customer service;damaged product

Hearing aid has NOT worked properly since day 1.Returned to store in Sears @ Niagara Falls,NY 14304 on several occasions for help.While dealing with Brandon,he had the unit sent away for "adjustments" and ,since I was leaving for Florida for 3 mos.,he agreed to ship it to me when repaired.Some 3 weeks later the unit was delivered to me by USPostal Service in pieces.

Whomever packaged the hearing aid used a sleezy bubble-lined envelope to mail it. Contacted Brandon.Told he would reorder asap.

That was 2 weeks ago and STILL have not received the unit.Dealing with Miracle Ear has been nothing short of disastrous! 2f56363

My father, Rex McGhan is on his 5th Miracle Ear Hearing aid, he is 97, this last one was just purchased within the last 4 months, his previous one wasn't doing him any good anymore, he is now completely deaf without his aid. It went out January 23rd, it was taken in for repair and they said it had to be sent in and it would be a week to 10 days, we asked them to please rush it because he is deaf without it. It is now the 8th of Feb and we were notified at 4:15 today that the aid was in and could we be there at 4:30 with Mr McGhan to pick it up. We had to schedule a wheel chair van, get Dad dressed and get to the Troy Mi location. We said we could not make it in 15 minutes, if we really rushed we could be there by 5:30. Oh no that wouldn't work they close at 5 and they had plans and couldn't stay later. They are closed on Saturday so now Dad has to wait another three days. VERY, VERY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED IN ABOUT 4 DAYS. Dad has been very depressed and spent most of the last 2 1/2 weeks in bed because he can't hear. We were told that most people have a back up aid, well his back up wasn't strong enough and I guess we missed the BOGO sale you must have had so that we could buy one and get one free. Dads insurance was not participating with Miracle Ear so he paid cash for this and I see on your website that you offer AARP discount, would have been nice if we had been informed of that at the time of purchase seeing as we had to pay...
