$43000
In 2010 I had Major spinal surgery?.My lumbar area of L4, L5 and S1 were all fused together with titanium rods/.
My neck is in the same shape as my lower back and I still need surgery?. I lost my health insurance because they wanted 1200 dollars a month to continue on the cobra|. I also have SLE with seizures". Of course I am waiting on SSDI to help out (that is another story all on it's own);.
My complaint is how they changed my diagnosis, the original one which included radiculopathy and neuropathies (which I have still)/. No doctor of theirs has seen me;. They did not send me to a doctor and the ones who see me now are afraid to touch me..they might have to order an expensive test!! Metlife helped me for 2 years and they will try to take my settlement from me when SSDI pays me, but guess what?
I am fighting them with all I have and I hope more people will make this same stand. My husband, who doesn't feel well most of the time himself, works and brings home just enough to keep out electricity and heat on...wow. I worked as an RN for 15 years and an aide for 5 years helping people.
It ruined my back.I recommend all people to get a lawyer when you begin dealing with this company and make sure your employer doesn't lie about who bought the policy...mine did. 2f30845
