do nuse merrick bank at any cost.i had opened a credit card with them at a low interest.
when i used it they jacked up the price for interest. i just took out a debt consolidation loan and my credit union paid them off. and they are still billing me and calling me on the phone harassing me for payment even though they have been paid they are a mormon bank and are ripping off consumers every chance they can get.run to the nearest shredder and never do business with this company or household bank services.
they are a nightmare for consumers.i will never have another credit card again 386a207

These people ARE the worl'ds biggest scam.....The close you account(for no reason), continue to charge an annual fee(even thought the account is paid off), and raise your rates at any given time "Just beause theyhave the right too" (that;s what their Dumb Cusomer Serivce Agent told me....All they ant is you money, even for services they arenot rendering.....
Run, do not walk, waway from this company ant all costs....

Funny because I have a friend that works there that says most working there are not mormon including the president.
I haven't had a credit card with them, but I can say credit cards can be a great thing if you have control enough to always pay them off ... especially if they have rewards.
