About a year ago I wanted to get rid of my landline.A friend suggested that I purchase a Magicjack.

I didn't want to dedicate a computer to it so I purchased the wireless kind. From the first time I set it up it would make the connection and then drop the call within the first minute. I called their techs five times over a period of five days - spent hours in the phone to no avail!. The techs were courteous but after each session the problem was still there".

Several times they had my digging thru my wireless router setting tweaking this and that.. Eventually I came to understand that this was not a 'plug and play' device in any sense of the word". I was disgusted! So I called customer service and got authorization to return it?.

Now over a year later, I'm still waiting for my refund:. I went out and bought an Ooma:. It works like a charm". Easy set up, excellent clarity...worth every penny.

Buying a Magicjack is like throwing your money down the toilet.I would have been better off buying two soup cans and a ball of string. 30effe5
