To All Concerned:While working for Labor Ready,N.E., Inc.as a full-time Permanent Worker for over a decade was disappointing.

The Manager of my last Branch in Hackensack, NJ, Sandra Velasquez(went behind my back to the Corporate Office) and had me terminated. The treatment of this Manager who is currently still there, was despicable. They were continually being disrespectful, arrogant, rude and at times, out-right cruel with their treatment of staff and temporary workers. I am over fifty-Years old, and I have never met a piece of psychotic garbage like this Manager in my life.

She always showed jealously towards me due to my tenor in the company. They Were always upset with me when I came to the defense of a temp worker. This manager tried making me miserable how ever they could I believe to make me quit. I've watched her use her sexuality to motivate temp workers, then screwed-them over after they did her biding time after time again.

She would allow you to work overtime to complete your assignment, then she would edit the time clock and take it back to make sure you only had 40 hours, and would not pay for any overtime (which is Illegal). I never thought I would be happy when terminated, but just to get away from Mrs. Sandra Velasquez was a blessing, a real piece of mind and a breath of fresh air. After working in seven other Branches, and with 9 other Managers, this Manager(Sandra Velasquez) was a disgrace compared to the others.

This women doesn't have a clue on how to manage a Branch or treat others fairly. The District Manager Joe Marotta for T.U.N.E. (The Upper North East) is also a pitiful joke. What District Manager doesn't investigate something before they agree to terminate one of their most tenured employees in the District.

He simply said to me " This is your last day with the company ". What a loser !!! He kisses Sandra Velasquez when he walked in the Branch and terminated me. I've always loved this company, but it's clear they don't give a *** about anyone but their money.

I couldn't believe that I was so misled by this company. The old statement " Work hard and you will be rewarded " doesn't apply to Labor Ready, Inc. They will use you up without appreciation. All they care about is Money !!!!

They couldn't give a *** about the welfare of their employees, they only pretend to care. And I am the perfect example.I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone, any employee or any company and going forward will try to discourage anyone from utilizing their services and not for anyone to have any dealings with " Labor Ready, Inc. I worked at the Hackensack Branch for only 8 Months and it was pure ***. How someone as evil as Mrs.

Sandra Valasquez, gets hired by Labor Ready, and is allowed to mis-treat staff as well as temp. workers is a mystery. I didn't complain hoping things would get better. I waited too long to complain and I was quietly discussed with seniors behind my back then terminated.

The only consolation is that due to the economy, I qualified for a College Grant and I am currently in school. I intend to come out of this better and stronger along with the financial backing of the emergency unemployment extention. Shame on Labor Ready for letting this happen. Shame on Labor Ready for having a dead-beat District Manager who should've intervened, or at least asked me just one question concerning the termination...

but nothing, he was as cold as their BS policy. Labor Ready always talked about their core values. The truth is, they have absolutely none. They only pretent to have them to make them look good on the outside.

Inside, it's really not a place anyone should want to be but rather a closet of dead man's bones and they are only striving for money, but still verbally claim they have Core Values but they have none at all.This Branch Manager (Sandra Valasquez) is a disgrace before God, and she continues to treat Temp!. workers like garbage and was able to simply terminate a dedicated, decade long worker (myself)-that's never been written-up and this was due to an inept, trashy District Manager". But sins have a way of coming back and I truly believe what was done to me by these two individuals was a sin before God, and will always be a stain on the face of Labor Ready simply can't be explained and wiped away". I appreciated my employment and made some sacrifices(like crossing state Lines)to continue working for the company or traveling 70 miles each way to continue my employ with the company when an opening became availble in Dover, NJ when the Branch in NY was closing/.

I accepted that position and travelled to get there:.What was even more sad about this company, is when they wrongfully terminated me, they offered me absolutley nothing when I left even after more than 11 years of dedicated service, nothing but a big Goose Egg as if I had done something dishonorable'.I guess you can call me a disgruntled worker, but how am I supposed to feel ? I transfered into Hackensack when my previous Branch closed in the spirit of work and moving on, but looking back, it was like Dante's Inferno working for Sandra Valasquez|. It was pure *** and no one should work under these conditions and treatment|. She had so many double standards...

I.E. she would tell me to pull the zipper up on my shirt because you could see a little bit of my chest, while she wore a blouse that exposed almost her entire breast and clevage almost all of the time. And at times, she dressed somewhat like a hooker, I guess the dress code policy didn't apply to her. I guess satisfying her low self-estemm was more importand.

I have never worked for a Manager that was quite this sick before and had soooo many double standards and Character Defects, it was difficult.I would pray before even entering the Branch, asking God to please give me strength to deal with her that day. 30d30b8
