Kohls - Returning merchandise bought with Kohls cash

I was returning a mans at the In Balboa Ave, Clairemont San Diego that I bought for 30$ they told me, I would only get 10 dollars back because the "Kohls Cash are not returnable, I ask for store credit they told me I couldn't get it.So , I spend a lot of money and I get Kohls cash,
my question is, When I return stuff does it just disappear??????????????

KOHLS CASH SHOULDN'T BE CALLED KOHLS CASH IT SHOULD BE CALLED '"KOHLS NONREFUNDABLE !!!!!!!!!!
I never had this problem in other stores I' m Breaking my card.

Lol, Kohl's is not the only store to call coupons "cash", some places call them "bucks".

Regardless, why on Earth would you think that a slip of paper with a barcode on it that a store gives you for shopping is legal tender??? Did you actually think it was real money??? It's just a coupon! How dumb are you? :grin

You spent a bunch of money one day and they gave you a coupon as a GIFT for shopping during that time. Kohl's doesn't give out Kohl's cash all the time.

Later you used the coupon on something else, and only paid $10 in real, actual, legal money for it. When you want to return it, you only get $10 back in real, actual, legal money because that's all you actually spent!

What you're whining about is the same as buying an item on sale, and them demanding the full price back when you return it. You never paid the full price to begin with! :roll

SO MANY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER the coupon is a SCAM get rid of it make the customers happy again. INSTEAD OF TELLING THEM TO READ THE RULES CHANGE THE RULES TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER SHOP SHOP SHOP

Or go back to school learn to read and cut the umbilical cord and learn to be an adult. Can't handle it? I suggest you get serious reality check. Its a business that can be marketed with any tools they desire. Don't like it? Go to the Middle East and see what a coupon gets you? Sorry not everyone can bend at the knee just to make one baby satisfied :cry grow up!

You got a refund on what you paid out of pocket. There is no scam in that. Please read the back of any -coupons- you receive to see what the terms are. Did you expect them to give you 20 free dollars?

Had you gone in without a receipt/your card you could have gotten store credit for whatever the jackets most recent low price was. In the future, open with asking what you can get in store credit for the item, and if its less than you'd get for your OUT OF POCKET purchase -then- pull you receipt out.

It is nothing more than a SCAM. Spend money get a COUPON return anything and you have to give the coupon back They are even taking the coupons back WHEN YOU DO NOT USE THE COUPON. HENCE KOHLS CASH SCAM

This is not true, you only lose the KC when your return takes you below a 50 dollar increment. If you haven't spent it the coupon loses it's value, if you have spent it, you get 10 dollars less back on the return, but you got 10 dollars in merchandise with the KC coupon. Wishing it was a scam doesn't make it one.

Kohl's cash isn't real cash. Not legal tender, not recognized by the U.S. as actual money. Try taking it to buy gas you can't use it there can you? No. Not money. When you receive Kohl's cash read the back because upon using it your agree to the terms and conditions. You don't put up a hissy fit when you use a percent coupon do you? When you don't get the money 30% back of your purchase. If its too hard to look at it as cash than trying thinking it as coupon. BECAUSE IT IS A COUPON. SHEESH!

if you had used a percent off coupon, you would not have received the amount of savings back on a merchandise credit, so why would you receive the Kohls Cash back? You get a refund of what you actually paid out of pocket.
