Will never shop here again.Prices are outrageous.

Pair of Capris 69.99 on sale for 39.00. What a rip off and insult to my intelligence. Then some clothes advertised at 80% discount only to be the the same regular non-sale price at other stores. I'm surprised there still in business.

Also think it's so unfair to only get extra discount if I open a credit card with them. I did do that once and had so much trouble trying to pay my first bill on line that I had to go into the store to pay it, and I promptly closed it out also.

Who needs them?I sure don't

If you thought the prices were outrageous while you were shopping, why on Earth would you then buy something AND open a credit card with the store instead of just leaving and shopping somewhere else?

No one forced you to do any of that, you made that *** decision yourself.

Thank you!!! This is why I hate this store. They assume that every customer is a ***....they stick a super inflated price on an item just so they can advertise a 50%, 60%, or 75% reduction. I'll give my business to stores that at least appear to see me as something other than a mindless consumer.

So what exactly is your complaint about? If you're that offended by the prices, then go shop somewhere else! It is a free market after all and merchants have the right to make whatever price they want. Perhaps the capris you saw on the 80% rack were last year's capris? Styles do tend to change from year-to-year. It's not that complicated to figure out, you know.
And as far as getting an extra discount if you open a credit card, it's true there are advantages for having one. However, even the shoppers who don't have a Kohl's charge are smart enough to know that by providing your e-mail address you can receive coupons and great deals without having the Kohl's charge. You sound like you just wanted to come on here and whine for no apparent reason!

I agree Kohl's things are expensive, but as far as saying things would probably be cheaper in other department stores, I guess that would depend on the other stores. Yes, if you compare them with stores like Shopko, Target, KMart, Sears, and JCP, maybe. However, if you compare them with stores like Macys, Younkers, etc., I doubt it. I was real surprised, a couple years ago when I read that that Kohl's is a discount store. This article was a summary of different stores. When it comes to sale prices, all the stores could have their original prices a lot lower than they start out at. Several years ago, I was in a WalMart when it was getting towards spring and they had those little stretchy knit gloves and stocking caps marked down to .10 cents each and we all know that even at that price they had to have been making some kind of profit, so instead of having marked them at $1.00 each in the beginning, they might have sold them out if they had started out at .50 cents each, and wouldn't have had to mark them down so low as spring approached. Anyway I bought about a dozen of the pairs of gloves and a dozen of the caps for my four grandkids. However, merchants don't look at things that way. If you don't like Kohl's don't shop there, it is really simple.

I TOO HAVE NOTICED THE CRAZY PRICES ON CLOTHING. AND THEN SOMETIMES THEY ARE MISSING THE MARK ON QUALITY. I THINK PEOPLE JUST STICK A PRICE ON A TICKET WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING. THOSE SAME CAPRIS ARE PROBABLY BEING SOLD AT OTHER DEPT. STORES FOR WAY LESS. RIDICULOUS
