I tried to make an online fabric purchase to take advantage of 60% off upholstery sale!.The fabric I selected is not available in the stores near me/.

I tried to place a $100 order REPEATEDLY on the website but it would not accept my card #, giving me an invalid card number error?. I called customer service to try to place the order by phone and was told the same thing would happen/. The CSR explained that it is an encrypted security issue that Johann's site has with MY bank and that I should contact MY bank to find out what the issue is,. Very poor service in my opinion?.

I have placed many orders on different websites using this same card and have never had an issue.. I am extremely disappointed in the way this is handled leaving all the work to me - the customer- to fix the issue,.

The CSR said she receive lots of complaints about this.UNHAPPY! 38bc850

I don't really work registers at my store so I can't comment on if it would work in store..I'm usually located at my stores cut counter if you're wondering where I'm going with this... If the fabric wasn't located at stores near you, you should still be able to order it from your closest store in most cases,. If you get the article number from the Jo-Anns website and take it to the cut counter at your jo anns they can verify if it's something they regularly stock. If it's not they may still be able to place a special order for you, although it may come from a seperate vendor and the a shipping fee may be required since it would come in via fed ex instead of the company truck. They can also check stores in their distrct and even others in the US although this process takes much longer. It's better to go that far when the store isn't busy since it could take a good 15 or more minutes just to find a store with the yardage you need. Then there's calling that store, having someone track it down if they're not busy and verifying the yardage which is a lengthy process, sometimes 45 minutes or more if they're busy..
