JCpenney - the changes at jc penney and ellen degeneres spokesperson changed my shopping at penneys

i no longer shop jc penneys have not been in the store since they named ellen degeneres a spokesperson and made many other changes for instance in pricing and sales but i will not be shopping at penneys so please discontinue your emailsalso your language in describing customers as pi---- is vulgar and offensive again i do not wish to be contacted again so unsuscribe my address please. i will not be posting any complaints or opinions in the future i find all this a waste of my time and also shopping at jc penneys would be distasteful to me 3804815

I can understand you not wanting to go back in after they took away the sales and coupons. I thought that was a terrible idea when they announced it to the employees. But what difference does it make who the spokesperson is and what they do with their own life? You're not going to see her there, she's not going to try to change you. All of the customer service associates represent the company too (smaller scale of course) Should they make sure they all like the opposite gender before hiring them? It affects your tiny little life in absolutely no way, get over yourself and let others live how they want to.

Ellen Degeneres is a human being. She's generous, supportive and helps many people in need, which is more than I can say for the many self-righteous bigots that probably do nothing but complain. I applaud JC Penney and Ellen. God Bless her!

I do think Penneys needs to sell items made in the USA too!

Do your shoes that are made in China support your belief in sweat shops? I am sure all of the items in your home are from the USA and not tested on animals and your home is perfect and your kids are perfect and your life is perfect. GET REAL AND GET OVER IT

I spend my money where the owners support my values - I'm not upset, just stating the facts: I won't be shopping at JC Penneys. It seems not to many people were shopping at JCP to begin with.
We have genders for a reason. Men can't mate with men and women can't mate with women. In todays world - for some it's all about doing whatever feels good.

I find it funny, and very irritating, that people who back ellen are saying let people live how they want to and dont say anything. So...you mean to tell me that when the BIBLE (the ONLY book by God that means anything) says that unrepented sinners, such as the homosexual, will NOT get into heaven, you expect me and others to say nothing? how funny is that, that the company that James Cash Penney started was founded on Christian and Biblical priciples. Now that is completely stripped away and the "retail roman empire" is falling and doing so fast. Live like Jesus did and not out of selfish pleasure and you might see a homosexual live past the age of 50...I had an uncle who was *** and died before 50, i loved that guy and my mother was taking him to church every time he could physically make it, becuase that "lifestyle" is very deteriorating to the body. I wonder why..i hope i see him in heaven, i dont know if he ever made things right with God before he died, i guess ill find out one day. So for anyne else who wants to support homosexuality, you might as well support all sins, because the bible says that no sin is greater than the other, they all are equal. So dont think you're a good person still because you support that lifestyle and think murder is wrong. You're the same supporter whether you think so or not. This company is aiding in the death of human life as we know it. I hope you reconsider supporting that and turn to Jesus, if not, well, at least i tried. Ill let God... Show more

If you have nothing better to do than be upset that Ellen is the spokesperson you have way too much time on your hands. Welcome to 2012 where us city folk like all types of people not just because of who they are but what they stand for.
