After filing a claim through VISA for the portion of the shipping charged to my credit card, the company finally did issue a credit. The remainder, which was for the cost to return the gate to the company - a cost they promised in writing they would reimburse - was not part of the VISA claim. After requesting the company reimburse this money as promised, and they did not, I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau in the company's area. The company eventually issued a credit to my VISA for this as well. So, all costs were reimbursed, but not without an investment of time and effort. The gate was damaged before they shipped it to us, but getting them to stand behind their product, though ultimately successful, was a hassle. Both VISA and the Better Business Bureau were very helpful.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!We bought a wooden gate to keep our dogs in one part of the house.
It arrived a month later, damaged. The packaging was not damaged, which means they shipped it this way (see photo). Customer service was contacted numerous times, but the only thing we got back was a computer-generated email saying they would get back to us within one business day. We filed a complaint with VISA, and heard from the company shortly after, instructing us to return the gate, and that they would credit us for the cost of the shipping.
Returned it about a month ago, and just got a credit, but for only the amount of the gate, not for either the outbound or return shipping.RIP OFF company. 30e8c85
