HONDA - No Honor

Briefly, I had an incident where my car was damaged due a recent Hurricane(Sandy).
Took my car into a dealership, insurance claim covered repairs, minus my deductible ($1000).Total bill around $6000.00 (With my deductible).

Dealership /body shop had my car for 36 days. Went over on rental coverage through the insurance co, and thought the dealership would be kind enough to cover the remaining of the rental. Nope. They also have a contracted company that verifies personal checks for them, which denies check randomly, mine included, (two times) including a Cashiers Check(third time) from my bank.

So I sent a letter to American Honda Corp. Addressed directly to Tetsuo Iwamura CEO, and received a call from some Guy named "Walter" that's it , no last name. Any way don't know what Walter gets paid for because he provided no customer service at all, he explained Honda could not help me get reimbursed for my added expenses. So I asked since I wasn't getting reimbursed, could Honda offer other services, such as free services (oil changes, etc) Walter said nope.

He also said a lot of similar comments I have seen posted on this site, such as "American Honda is not Responsible for", "Dealerships are separate entities from American Honda", etc, etc, etc. This is my third Honda I have bought through the years, I am a widow with a ten year old son, and all this happened over the Holiday Season. Namely I am disappointed with Honda and Mr. Tetsuo Iwamura, this company does not care about their customers, and have no Honorable characteristics, it is all about money.

And poor Walter, I hope he can sleep at night.
I really liked Honda, and the visions I have read all about that they have.But now I am wondering is it all a facade. 38bf40b

Honda has no control over dealer policy. Be mad at the dealer not Honda!!!!!!
