Home Depot's return policy is a SCAM!! beware

Bought a electronic safe for my place which proved to be a tad big fr the space intended for it.Home depot outright refused my return citing that I have other returns in the past, which I questioned and learnt that the tit bits worth $5 and $10 which I usually over purchased to use for fixing up my place and then returned in completely sealed condition is now being used to deny my return.

On asking the manager where is this policy written, the answer "Home depot reserves the right to deny your return". I guess they forgot to mention the *** kissing I get when I am trying to buy something at their store, including hey if it does not work/ fit just bring it back. This store is a fraud, they are not sincere and I advise everyone to find alternatives and support them even if that costs people a few more pennies. The Home Depot should be taught a lesson that when you *** of genuine customers, they are not going to give you RETURN business!

Good luck to Home depot as I have told this story to any one who might listen. Will never buy at Home depot again, FRAUD store..

If any *** from home depot wants to challenge this, then first put your policy in print where everyone can see and spell out after how many returns you will not accept their returns. We will see how many idiots continue to shop at Home depot. 387244a

Here we go again, now that "Lady Scott" the so called pharmacist with tons of free time on his hands, has realized that people are on to him, and know full well that he is one of Home Depot's trolls trying to rectify the situation with pissed consumers. Here we have another guy quoting the "federalist papers" and trying to connect "too much democracy" to our system being overthrown by customers who choose to utilize the only route they can to voice their concerns about a SCAM. NO you ***, it's not that complicated. I was not rude in the store, I did not have too many returns and yes I did have the receipt every single time!! I guess for retarded minimum wage blog trolls like this, it has to be a conspiracy against home depot. Unfortunately home depot's policy is a scam and I will state it on every single forum I can get a hold of till people start realizing it.

I am not a pharmacist and never claimed to be. You obviously can not read. LICENSED AND REGISTERED PHARMACY TECH. Got it? Last I heard, Home Depot is not a pharmacy so your assumption that they employ me is laughable. They pay what? $9 bucks an hour? My education and experience get me over $15 now with my raise. Yea, I am seriously considering applying to HD. ***.

Pissed is the one that seems to be running the scam here. Looks like he didn't have a receipt (possibly because the item was stollen) and they wouldn't take it back. Open your eyes. Most retail stores want a receipt when you return an item. PAY for the product, keep the receipt and make the return in a reasonable amount of time and your return problems will go away. :)

This is aimed at the original poster! You're a tool. You're the one who doesn't get it! You clearly have been returning items a very high rate. Home Depot is in business to make money! The people responding to your post don't work for Home Depot, we just know a thing or two about how this business works. I work for Menards if you don't know it look it up. Home Depot has the right to refuse any return for any reason, all retail places are like this. At my store Menards we have people who love to buy an item say as a ladder, use it.... then return it... Think the store gets money from that? No! You clearly have a very high rate of returns and Home Depot said NO NO MORE, You are taking advantage of our kindness! Sigh I could go on and on, but you're kind is so small minded you will never get it.

You never mentioned if you had your receipt. If you are one of those people that constantly return items at stores without your receipt, well then I can understand their position. After a while, returns without receipts begin to look like the ifs that want the cash. Suck it up and keep your receipt from now on.

Of course a jack $%# from Home depot trying to save the reputation. Why don't you find a better job then trolling through comments as Home depot is a Fraud store. I had the receipt every single time jack $%#@ and No it does not and should not have prompted the store any bit to consider my returns as someone trying to get cash.

Why don't you grow a pair and actually stop acting like a WALMART *** and act like you have some sense. Which, it becomes apparent you lack.

Returns are a courtesy not a right, and every store on the planet has the right to refuse one.

Another one from Home depot trying to give *** arguments like Home depot reutrn policy is a privilidge of some sort. NO return policy and NO customer service whether a right or a courtesy = NO loyalty from the customer. If Home depot does not get that than they will go the way of best buy very soon. Please take your idiotic "returns are a courtesy" msg elsewhere as I never argues for that eitherways. To the HD employees trolling the web for comments from pissed customers of HD, stop giving out such *** answers and insulting our intelligence!! HD return policy is a scam and that's the way I see it. IT's in place to rip customers off.

Pissed, everytime you pull the HOME DEPOT employee card, you look more like an *** than you already do. I work in a PHARMACY as a REGISTERED & LICENSED PHARMACY TECH. I do not work for Home Depot, or any of the other places dumbasses like you accuse people who respond of.

The people who comment on these complaints do so because they either do not believe you, or try to help you, or call you out when you are ***. In your case, you are ***. Accusing someone who does not agree with you of working for the company makes you look ***.

Now, again, NO STORE has to accept returns. There is no law that requires it. They can refuse any and all, it is their choice.

And being told NO is not bad customer service. Walmart has ruined reasonable people and turned them into self entitled whiney ***. Grow up or build your own *** from now on. You are obviously too *** to shop in the general public.

Considering how passionately LadyScot above is defending Homedepot against a completely legit complaint about their return policy being a SCAM! It's my educated guess that this is one of the trolls that Home depot has hired to go around checking out blogs and try to poke holes into the complaints. Well even a retarded 2 year old can see through that BS.. Also Lady Scot nevere bothered to mention "why" all the love for Home depot?? Has lady Scot had such wonderful and life changing experiences at Home depot that he had to come to the defence of it. Stop the BS home depot and just admit to the fact that the return policy is a SCAM and sooner or later their will be laws in place as well which will stop scammers like home depot from collecting your license information for returns and then holding you hostage for no returns. I guess Lady scot however will still be there, because your store will be turned into a parking lot. Good luck home depot continue with this privildged return policy and I am sure people will realize or have already realized the SCAM sooner or later
