Am I lucky or what?I purchased a premier Maytag washer and dryer pair from Home depot store (around $2000), after several loads, and the washer refused to power on anymore.

This is within 25 days since installation, and I only do Laundry once a week on the weekend. Home depot service department told me that it is NOT their fault, and they would not replace it, I was told to go through the warranty service from Maytag to handle this. And, Maytag told me that they did NOT sell me the unit ...and will only try to fix it for me and will NOT replace the unit unless they cannot fix it after 3 times. Ok, I am 6 weeks into the same bad A&E service company that Maytag contracted to repair this unit in my area.

I am also at the 2nd time to order the part for this washer repair, since they order the wrong part that didn't fix the problem the first time. So, who is to blade......probably myself to choose Home Depot _ Maytag combo.......what a killer combo to a consumer just want his washer to work.....like it used to. Maytag no more, Sears is the only one providing the service technician these days in my area.

My advice is to research your area for the service plan provider first, and decide which brand to buy.Maytag is having the same Whirlpool machine that Sears sold......:) Don't buy from Home depot online or in store.....on any brand of appliance. 3886780
