I have had my Audible hearing aids for five years now.
Had to have them repaired 4 times at the cost of 300.00 dollars each time.

I take them to have them cleaned and adjusted when needed.
The feed back is terrible and I have complained about not
being able to hear well with them and even worst cannot hear the words correctly.

I just had my hearing aid repaired again and was told that the hearing aid is old and can't be adjusted and I need new ones.

I paid 6.000.00 for these and just finished paying them off. I do not have this kind of money to keep replacing them every couple of years.

Why are hearing Aids so expensive? I am not happy with the Audible hearing Aids, and very disappointed with the service and people at the Audible office I go to. I won't be buying Audible hearing Aids again. 30dd4d1

I understand hearing aids have to be repaired. I am an IT person and have wore hearing aids for many years. One thing people fail to realize is that Hearing Aids(electronic devices)operate in conditions that no other electronic would make it. They are in moisture, heat, cold, dirt, ect. For only needing repaired maybe once or twice a year is astonishing to me. Carry your computer or tv around in all the environments you do your hearing aid and see how long it lasts. Repair cost are just part of life. Imagine if you dropped your glasses and shattered the lens. The eye doctor will charge you to fix them as well. If you knock your tv over, it's going to cost you. My hearing aids were repaired at no cost for the first 3 years and yes they are Audibel. My Audibel guy is only a HIS and is the best I have ever seen. I was with Audiologist before him. He gave me the best hearing test I have ever had and the way he can program hearing aids is unbelievable. It depends solely on the place you choose to go when getting hearing aids.

I purchased audible hearing aids and after 2 months returned to let them know about the constant feed back when I increased the volume. Their answer, you can upgrade. They are a rip off. They have fallen apart several times when taking them out of the ear.Service is terrible with long waits even with appointments. I can't wear them as I feel like my ears are blocked up when I do and hear even less than without them. DON"T GO TO ANY AUDIBLE HEARING CENTER.. Palm Coast, Fl

These people are ripping you off and taking your money. Please go to a Doctor of Audiology, they have 8 years of education and are the best trained to take care of your hearing. To be a hearing aid dispense in most states you need to have only a high school diploma, no STD'S and pass a basic test. Why would you trust your hearing with these con artistes? Would you go to a some random person to rehab your vision or a knee? NO, these people do not care for your hearing healthcare. Doctors of Audiology or Audiologists will find the right options the first time and save you thousands of dollars.

People would be wise to stay away from Audibel aka "used car dealers" with their high pressure and lack of service venues.

A hearing aid manufacturer should repair aids with a max turn around of 5 days in house(note this is max it is usually 3). You can ad 1 day post each way. so absolute max time of repair should be 7 days. Repair costs can also be guaranteed for 5 years from purchase date. Any clinic that can't give you this information is dealing with a inferior manufacturer or is not disclosing details for commercial reasons. find another clinic.

I dropped my Audibel on the ceramic tile and it cracked down the seam. My daughter could have fixed it with a little superglue but the wire came out so I took it to Audibel to have it fixed. The told me it would be 550.00 to have it fixed over 3 weeks ago. They also told me I had to have an hearing test that it was the law. I told them I didnt want a hearing test. They called me and said I had an appointment again I asked them if my hearing aid was back they said no not yet. This is a bunch of ***. They have my hearing aid. I am willing to pay the 550.00 that they told me now they keep trying to pressure me into this APPOINTMENT THAT I DONT WANT. This is Audibel of Zephyrhills Fl.
