I purchased a Green Dot MoneyPak Card from Kangaroo Express 901 Island Park Park Drive Daniel Island SC Store #3882 phone 843-971-8701 and waited the 20 minutes (they required 10 min for funding to be available) to load the money onto my son's prepaid American Express card.My son is sick away sick at school and needed medicine.

He is 1200 miles away from me. I tried loading the funds online several times and was told the card # was invalid!. I spent 2 hours on the phone (1|.5 on hold) for them to tell me that they needed 4-24 hours to research the problem/. They were going to call me in 4 hours;.

I couldn't wait 4 hours and neither could my son!. The representative gave me a bogus phone number and extension to call back and check if I didn't hear from them--no matter what you pressed when you dialed the number the automated system would hang up.. I don't know if the clerk screwed me over or MoneyPak is having some major processing problem?. Neither of which is satisfactory!.

I need to get these funds to my son!!!!Only God can help them all, if he gets sicker because of someone's thievery, incompetence and or greed. 383e471

A few hours after I made these posts and emailed the consumer adovcacy as mentioned in the post below, I received a call from Indonesia- a representative from MoneyPak. I didn't pick-up the call because I didn't want the risk of having to pay for an int'l call on my mobile. I called back the special # 888-267-9413 and was told they had resolved my problem! Just like that. Another MoneyPak number to reload on an AmEx prepaid. No explanation. I am releved that this is over. I wish I had another alterative--this experience made me ILL. I don't understand how some people, stating that they've lost hundreds of dollars to MoneyPak and just walked away--I am NOT embarrased to say that I went ape*:/) over $50.00. Small potatoes to some but every cent belonged to me and my family (not to mention I had a sick kid needing this money) !!!!!! Don't let any company take what you've earneed and not deliver your goods and/or services. They need us just as much a we need them!!!

STILL NO RESOLUTION MORE THE 24 HOURS LATER....STILL BACK AND FORTH WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Will email Consumer Advocacy although - I guarantee they know who I am and the problem that I am having. will keep you posted. ONE PISSED MAMMA GRIZZLY!!!!
