I've been a faithful customer for years and for once I decided to return a product that I was not impressed with especially after the hype I was given by the clerk.It was a $31.00 item that I purchased with a credit card.

The same card I've used there many times. .... Now the employee asks for the card and my drivers license. Why do you need my license ..

just for your protection he says. I hand him my license and he types in my license number .. Why did you do that ? Don't worry the company protects your information.

.. I could not get a refund without the license being processed ... There is no policy stating they need your license number for returns ..Their online policy states a valid picture I.D. and an online return requires no picture I.D.

Obtaining customers personal info bothers me and many others. I will never ever shop at a GNC again and will inform and encourage those I know to no longer shop at GNC. There are many other options and places for purchasing health supplements.....
