Came home from Gamestop with refurbished console.I turned it on and got the message CONSOLE BANNED.
The previous owner committed fraud on the system, making it useless. I took back everything because of that (games, charging dock, etc.). While walking out the store I noticed they didn't refund my warranty for the system, had I not caught this I would of been out that money. Waiting now on the second refund transaction, I ask for the corp number and they didn't know it but they did give me a district managers number.
The next day I called and talk to the manager working having to explain my story again I asked for corps number and he didn't know it. The next day the DM gets back in touch with me and I'll he can do is say sorry, which I've already heard several times, so I asked for the number again, and he said "why?". I told him I wanted to speak to someone else. I called corporate and explained the whole thing.
They tell me the best they can do is a FYI which is a report of the complain that goes to the stores in question DM and his boss with no call back. So they basically be sending a report to one of the people I have a problem with and his boss with know feedback, not good enough. I asked if I had any other options, costumer service connected me with his supervisor. I start to explain it to him and everything I said it was like he was defusing it, telling me sorry and the best he can do is the FYI.
So I ask is their someone above him that I could speak with he said "no", repeating what he just told me I found out someone is above him just not in office today, he says he can connect me to his voice mail but before doing that I asked for his bosses information, so can contact him further. I tell him I wanted to be connected to his voice mail and before I even finish what I saying he click me over because he was upset, not giving me the chance to disregard the useless FYI. I left him a message and I'm waiting on a reply. I will not stop contacting and explaining this, until someone high up deals with this entire situation including hearing the audio between me and the supervisor!.
They act like a want something from them and they're not giving it when really I'm a serious gamer that will not let this go/. After the refunds the same night I went to a different GS and got a brand new console, the games and etc?. Both time I paid with my card so I'm still waiting on my refund to actually hit my account/.
Issues: 1 Console banned (this has happened more than once but not often, they should change their policy for test game systems, you're are pretty much taking a 50/50 chance) , 2 Employees and managers not knowing and unable to give me the corp number|. 3 The district manager asking me "why I need the number" after explaining what happen and him not been able to do anything it's beyond rule to me, the DM should of been avid about seeing if there was anything else he can do for me not ask the customer why,.
The Corp supervisor getting upset to the point that I feel someone above him should hear the audio'.They don't know they messed with the wrong gamer. 38bdf1e
