Camden, SC + Lugoff, SC 2/20/13 FOOD LION STORES
I purchased a fresh (????) pork loin ($15.00+)from Camden,SC store.Returned home, opened it to place it in the cooker...it was SPOILED!!

I returned it to Food Lion, stated the problem and proceeded to select another pork loin. I asked the person at the meat counter if he could open it to see if it was OK. He said "No, it is sent to us pre-packaged and we cannot open it in the store". So..should I have bought it, taken it home and discovered that it too was spoiled???

Well, at that point, I'd have to return to Food Lion for the THIRD TIME!! NO, 'just give me a broasted chicken and I'll rearrange all my dinner menu likewise". What a bad experience. My son also bought fresh (????) pork from the same Food Lion 2 days earlier and had the same experience.

Lately, my friend bought fresh (???) pork from the Lugoff, SC Food Lion and she had exactly the same experience, except she had cooked the pork before realizing that it was spoiled. What's going on with Food Lion meat???

Management in Camden, SC has been notified of the issue, yet I'm not going to buy any fresh (???) meat there.We don't have a wide range of choices of food stores, so I'm trapped. 305bc97
