my hair was down to the bottom of my bottom .I haven't cut or trimmed my hair in 5 years .

I went in to have it trimmed and I told her 3-4 inches that I didn't want to lose my length . I showed her as well as explained it . when I stood up to look I noticed she had cut off 11-12 inches of my hair . I'm 45 and I doubt I'll ever get my hair back to that length .

I . sent complaints to corporate but there is nothing they can do now . I m so mad and upset I will never go back and I would suggest no ome else goes there either .

That sucks that she cut so much of your hair off. I would be pissed too!
Not to be mean, but being that you are 45, chances are, having hair that long probably looks ridiculous anyway!

Fortunately, long hair hairstyles are now considered appropriate for women of any age, including those over 40 or 50. Think of Maria Shriver, Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon and so many others. Why on earth should a woman of a certain age have to cut off her hair? It didn't make any sense years ago, and it doesn't make any sense now. When you show someone and explain how much hair to cut, there is no excuse for such a big error. Yes, 12 inches is a lot of length!

get used to it huh? so you only have the right to be upset for not getting what you asked for if you have short hair? If you have long hair and someone cuts it off when you asked for a trim you should just let it go cause hey, you still have some hair . what do I have to be shaved bald to have the right to be upset .

Get real, 11-12 inches off hair that long isn't actually losing any length. It will grow back, give it time and in the meantime get used to it. I wouldn't consider this anything to contact corporate about.

So you go to a restaurant and order steak and they bring you lobster and you reply with I'm sorry I ordered steak I'm allergic to shellfish. Your server says suck it up, you've got your side dishes you can eat . Be happy with what you've got.
