CVS Pharmacy - No costumer service, or guarantee on CVS products

I bought a thermometer meant for newborns and toddlers.When I got it home I could see it was discolored, but with two sick children I needed to use it.

The thermometer did not work! With two sick children and a doctor on the phone wanting to know how high their fevers were, I couldn't tell him. Frustrated I called the cvs and was told because it was a CVS product it would be guaranteed. I didn't have time to return the product right away and when I did I was given attitude right away.

Not being in the area I tried to return it to another CVS in the next town over and was also given an attitude. The thermometer was only $15! I'm not worried about the money it's the lack of costumer service and quality control that upsets me the most.

Most of the employees have attitudes and no compassion!In an environment where most the customers are ill, customer service is a must!!!

I can NOT believe they would not take back a product that was made by CVS. Everybody knows a store brand is 100% $ back and sometimes 200% money back guarantee. Jeez, let me read that again......Oh in reading that post/complaint again I can't tell if you are mad because you didn't get your$15 or because they didn't give you your money while licking your butt clean. I call B.S. on this one.

I suggest you find another company to use for emergency purchases, and then for day-to-day stuff, do as I do. I use Amazon. Everything is here in 2 days or less, with free shipping and prices are lower than CVS. I've not darkened their door in a long time. I used to buy around $800 per quarter there, not including scripts. Now? It's zero.
