We used Credit acceptance to buy a car.We were told they report to all of the credit agencies.We paid every payment on time, and and paid the car off 4 months early.

We just bought a new car, and found out that they never reported it to the Credit agencies. This was supposed to boost our credit. All our credit report showed was that we took the loan a few years ago, and had a debt. They never reported that we paid on time every payment and paid it off early.

So if you are doing this to build up your credit it won't.
