This product was recommended to replace our 20+yr old Armstrong vinyl flooring (due to renovations). The installer was very particular, used the recommended products and in my opinion did an excellent job. For the good points: It resisted dog scratches, for the short time we had a dog. We tried not to let the dog run or play in the house while he was with us for 2 months. The tiles are easy to...
The salesman at Floors USA sold us a terrible flooring material. He said it was a very durable and easily maintained material. It was a $5000 mistake. Congoleum's duraceramic ovations does not hold up to the area beneath your kitchen table chairs. It has completely flaked off leaving white streaks on the top surface where there was once color. It chips and the seam sealer ( we did not buy the...
I would recommend that another flooring product be chosen if you are looking for the floor to last. My wife and I installed the Congoleum Duraceramic product Rapolano Shoreline Mist approximately a year and a half ago. It is installed in a tile pattern with Congoleum grout and the recommended Congoleum glue. The product is installed in the masterbath, kitchen, laundry room, a short hall,...
i will never recommend this floor to anyone have it less than 2 years, i live alone and have company occasionally but every time i clean the floor i see another mark or ding or whatever. my old cheaper vinyl just wore out never pinged or dinged. very disappointed. the floor was installed professionally. i chose to have laid like a ceramic tile floor with grout. the adhesives were expensive the...
This product is totally unfit for any floor installation despite the fact that the Mfg. warrants "lifelong limited warranty that your floor will be free of mfg. defect, will not wear out, will not fade, will not stain." The "limited" part of the warranty must prohibit any normal use whatsoever. Further when one has need to file a warranty claim, one gets no response whatsoever from Congoleum...
I am PISSED with Congoleum duraceramic floor tile. Less then two years old white spots began to appear under dining room chairs. Chairs have always had felt pads on legs and they are change regularly as needed. When an inspector came to look he said it was caused by surface being abraded! My wife keeps our house immaculate with the floors cleaned regularly. There is not sand or dirt ever on this...
Within a month, chips under rugs, random chips everywhere. We never wear shoes in the house, and are extremely careful about the type of cleaning product's we use.Save your money, this stuff is junk.We have had no satisfaction on replacement, repair,or monetary reimbursement . The company we bought from is local and have been in the flooring business for 50 years +. They told me that this is...
Had a Congoleum Duraceramic floor installed by Dalton Carpet Laplume Pa and it was far from a professional install and is cracking and manufacturer or Dalton will not stand behind product disabled and out $2000.00. In PaI am rejecting this response because: I mailed them the letter from Congoleum (see attached letter) with there results and as far as the coming out to the house to check the job...
Edges of tile are not staying glued down.Installed the dura ceramic with no grout as described in the installation instructions sealed the seams with ds 200 sealer. this stuff is thin like alcohol. The floor had 24 hrs to cue and was fine after useing the sealer it must have bleed down through the cracks and under the tile loosening the bond between the dura ceramic and the addheasive buy the...
After less than a year this floor was covered in dings, gouges, scratches, and the like. It's true what other reviewers have said that it gets damaged very easily. Before this floor I had a laminate floor for 7 years and I never had any wear issues. The floor even began loosing it's shine/top coating in places after only about a year. I paid $9000 for this floor--what a...
