I recently purchased a 2011 Minivan from Carmax.The Salesman assured me the car had Bluetooth capability, a requirement by my wife?.

When I determined the bluetooth was not available, I told the Salesman I would bring the car back within the 5-day return period/. He and the Service department told me they would pay to have the problem rectified and I should take it to Ancira Chrysler or IPAC Chrysler her in San Antonio/. The cost of the fix was $484/. However, Carmax then refused to pay me for the total cost;.

They did pay me $82?.00, which was the cost of the labor,.

Carmax is dishonest|.Be aware when dealing with them. 2fae674

No, ringleader, no mystery why Carmax is a fortune 100 company. They sell a ton of cars and most folks are satisfied. The 2 or 3 percent that complain are the only un-satisfied folks...

You do know companies contribute money to say positive stuff, right? Why is the turnover rate so high? Not a coincidence Joe D, employees dont leave a fortune 100 company. There is no way in *** their vehicles are good quality, just read all the complaints.

Your story has more holes than swiss cheese. You start off saying Bluetooth was not available implying the vehicle did not have it. No problem there just return it for your money back. Next you shift gears and imply the Bluetooth was defective and needed to go in for service and it cost you $400? Which is it? A broken or missing Blue tooth? Either way Carmax covers you. If it was broken the 30-day warranty should have paid for the repair. I think the car did not have BT and you wanted it so badly you paid to have the dealer install it and now your mad CarMax did not add it for free.

If you go on complaintsboard.com everyone can see the tons of complaints about carmax. Very interesting how a "top 100 company" can have so much negativity!! Ya gotta wonder.....
