We have had a Capital One card for years!.Recently (last several months), they have been "holding payments for 4 days"." I have also always used the automated phone payment system which has now become frustrating and cumbersome!.
These 2 events seem to have coincided:.
The system takes you all the way through very smoothly until you get to the account you wish to use, which is incorrect". I give the routing # & account number all over again, it then am asked if I would like this number to be the permanent acct number on file.. I answer "yes" & get transferred to a foreign customer service rep & have to give all of the info AGAIN!! The 4 extrends beyond that time frame also;.
I have never, ever had this much trouble making payments on any account..It is certainly motivation to close out the account. 312c39d
