I purchased a Hamilton beach icy treats machine for my husband for Christmas.As everyone knows around the holidays that you tend to lose receipts, when he opened the gift he was very excited to use it.

When he turned the machine on, it didn't work!. It made noise but didn't crush the ice like it was suppose to". So I took the machine back to and let them know I had lost the recipt but just wanted to exchange it for another one that this one didn't work:. I was told being that I had no recipt that it was my fault and I couldn't exchange for even store credit,.

I had asked to speak to a manager and when the had called him he told her to tell me that he was just going to say the same thing and that he wasn't coming out?. I had then asked her to tell him to come out and speak to me and when he did he came out with an and didn't even introduce himself|. Just started speaking to me very slowly as if I had a learning disability and said that he wasn't going to help me!.

I will NEVER EVER shop at again from this experience and I hope no one else will have an experience like I had tonight".Big Lots should really screen there management process a little better because if this is the type of management they have at every store I don't believe they will be open much longer 313bb93

So wait, you're mad at Big Lots because YOU lost your receipt? Really? Are you ignorant? There is a huge sign hanging up at the front registers that tell you what their return/refund/exchange policy is. Also Christmas is the time you want to make sure you keep all your reciepts for every gift you buy.

Stop trying to place blame on others and take responsibility for your lack of action.

What you should have done is, buy the new one and save your receipt, return the defective one with your new receipt for a refund.
