The company invited me for job interview on 2/11/2013 at 2:00pm.I received 2 phone call from the company to confirmed the appointment which I did.
Then on 2/11/2013 I drove to the company location and Lady approached me and told me that this is an orientation not one on one interview and she gave me company brochure and business of Mr. Park and ask me to take a sit on the conference room. Then few minutes later other potential candidates came sat in the conference room there was about 15 people altogether. Just about 2:00pm Mr.
Park came to the conference room and introduces himself. He gave us a slide power point slides. Then he starts talking about the company about growth and stability and he said the company is selling insurance to retiree between the age of 55 to 65. Slide 20 shows break down of how much money we as sales agents can make $1895 per week and just over $90,000 per year.
He said that we can make $100,000 a year and there no limit to how much we can make and that we can make more than $100,000 a year. He was talking for an hour we still did know what our job descriptions what we have to do for the company. Finally toward the end he pulls out slide tell us job description. Toward the end of the was slide that shows our job descriptions and which basically states that driving to people residence and knocking people door and asking for insurance sales.
The slides he gave us did not even have job descriptions and nowhere it stated that this is door to door selling requires driving and use your own vehicle. At the end of the orientation I was very upset and left the conference room and as I was leaving I saw 4 people leaving the room as well and I briefly talk to them and share concern with them and they said felt the same way?. Company should states clearly job description which involves extensive driving and going to people homes and knocking their doors and asking for sales/. I visited company before I go for the interview|.
Below is the job discription stated on the company websites'. Totally misleading, misrepresentation and false advertising and company should have done better to advertise the job openings/. I have contacted the company to give them feedback and I ask to speak with Manager and I was told Mr'. Park is the only manager and he was not available to speak and I could not leave him voice mail;.

You are hired and feel thrilled someone is taking a chance on you. You go in for the interview and listen to the great realm of the pay and commission schedule. You are offered wonderful leads and excellent training sessions.
You are told the sky is the limit. How high is the sky when you have to split your commissions with a trainer for three weeks? When you are placed with an agent who doesn't want to pull their own weight for another 3 weeks and you are still splitting.
Then you must SNA or you don't get to keep your job. That is 9 applications and 3,000 in 90 days. You get a promo prize and the wonderful trainer who trained you for three weeks equaling 9 times out by the way gets a cash bonus.
You may get leads but they aren't always for sure deals. As a new comer you may not get any leads until 6 months are up. There is no existing book of business unless you are a field trainer.
Not every insurance job is a house to house. Not every insurance job is 100% on the phone setting cold appointments. Not every insurance job is 100% commission. Not every insurance job is one who's focus is elderly.
So to blast this individual for not being more "knowledgeable" how about we blame a little... Show more

Don't be an *** and degrade people. Just shows you are PERFECT to work for Bankers Insurance..I just walked in from this fake *** ***. And I BLASTED the entire office. They won't forget this Greek. I didn't even take the "packet" of info. I asked is this Sales, they said yes. On the phone they said NO.
I've worked for NYLife - Now THAT is a true solid company!
So, enjoy your $1000 a week, I've made and will continue make more than that...
So rest your head easy at night, when you have your shady job to go to in the Morning.
Cheers!
