After 15 months, my Asics running shoes fell apart.I'm a very casual runner and I don't ever run more than 3miles.

My hand goes through the top, like a puppet sock! The outer stitching is unthreading on both shoes. I have that lasted 12+ years and are 100% intact. After I emailed Asics and was advised to mail them in, they waited a month to throw them back in my face and said "Too Bad".

Why does Asics advertise "" on their website??

These shoes are HIGH QUALITY JUNK, and after being loyal since 1988 I am saying TOO BAD to you Asics, LOST CUSTOMER for LIFE.Thank you SCOTT OLSON in for helping me make a wise decision!!!! 3158898

go with Newbalance, 5 years still going strong never had those ugly holes, way over the 500 recommended miles. asics makes them with cheap labor and cheap materials so you can buy them over and over and over and over and over...i dont trust that kind of "loyalty program"

a 2yr warranty should not expire in 6,9,or 12 months, ehhh.. my experience is that other top brand shoes last a lot longer and dont fall apart (literally)... ASICS= Aint Superior, It's Crappy ***!

Running sneakers are designed to last for 6 months, being only a casual runner you may be able to extend that to 9-12 months, but after a yaer and 3 months having your sneakers break down is not a defect, its normal wear and tear.
