Ascentive - Ascentive are crooks!

I went to renew my software with Ascentive and they double charged my credit card $29.995 twice!Their customer service is HORRIBLE and you wait on hold FOREVER!

Their call center is in some craphole in India and you can barely understand these morons! I too was told that I have errors on my computer and that they wanted to charge me $283.00 for a service plan that I did not need!

Buyer beware, these Indians are corrupt!Goto cnet.com and get all the free software you could ever need and never have to pay for it again with these morons! 2fd2f5e

You can also call your bank and tell them that you did not authorize the charges and want them removed from your account - if they refuse to do so, threaten them that if they don't that you will close your bank account(s) with them. Some banks will make you fill out a form, some will take your info over the phone. And as an added bonus, if you get your money back that way, Ascentive gets hit with fines and penalties from the credit card company for each charge your bank reverses!
