I had Marlen Gas/Amerigas out of St.Clair for 3 years because of the wonderful service they USED to provide.

Initial sign up gas was about $0.30 less than all other companies once your in though that is the end of cheap prices!. Generally paid around 2-2/.30 a gallon,. Found a company recently that was at $1?.89 per gallon so I switched?. Had 100 gallons in my tank at $2|.31 per gallon and got an $86 refund:.

They charge $39:.99 to dispatch a truck to pick up tank, $75 to pump out the gas in the tank and another $57 to restock the gas. So $172.96 later I am left with a measly $86 to get more gas. That is hiqhway robbery to say the least. They have trucks in the area all the time and it took 2 weeks to pick the tank up so don't make it sound like you had to make a trip out.

$75 to pump the gas out which I highly doubt they did either and a restock fee too. Come on. I could understand charging to pick the tank up, but other than that the fees are ridiculous. Lesson learned run your tank down to 10% before you call them and avoid highway robbery.

Alexander Propane is the only way to go in our area they don't gouge you.Customers come first with them not money. 3880142

Federal law prohibits the transport of non dot tanks over 5percent of gas. So a pump down requires 2 trucks.A service truck and a tanker. It requires a pump, not on the truck to do a pumpback. Chevk out large truck service calls in other bussinesses.4 dollars a mile x2 trucks x 50 dollars an hour for service. Next time pay your new company to pump the gas over to their tank.IT is Not!!!! unresonable for 300,000 dolars worth of equipment to charge 200 bucks.

Alaxander propane has screwed more customers than any one else in the area. Marlen has employees to pay a salary to, so when someone quits with no notice there is a pump out charge to remove the tank this is not to upset the customer just to cover cost of the employee's time. Marlen has always had deication to it's customers and always will.
