I needed new contacts and an exam, and went to America's Best, based on recent advertising for this new place.They advertised "the best prices." I went on Dec 12, 2012.

The initial exam price was advertised to be $69.00, but once there, was told there was an additional $15.00 charge, for another portion of the exam, which was required. Then I get hit up for the 3 year club nonsense. $115. later, I walk out the door and am told I'll get a call when the "trial pair" comes in.

one week, two weeks, three, and I get every *** story imaginable, their backordered from the factory, no one can get them, my prescription is so rare it's hard to fill, and lastly, there's been a recall. Five weeks later I go in for the trial pair, and I can't see a thing out of them!!! Another week wait for another pair that finally works. So I go to order them...sixty six and change for ONE BOX.

Same lenses are sold on the internet for as little as $34.
Not "the best prices" and terrible customer service, the whole process took SEVEN WEEKS!!!
