If you are a guy looking for a woman, do not, I repeat, DO NOT spend a dime at Amateur Match. I started with a free account where 6 - 8 women a day were sending email com-ons to me.

A friend had said he got great women from this site and so I thought, OK, I'm getting some good e-mails. I am very attractive man and do attract hot looking women on other dating sites.

After about a week or so, I decided to join to reply to all the hot ladies. No one responded. Not one and all the e-mails stopped. I went to the chat room, and all that were there were scripts of fake cam bots or women wanting you to go to Yahoo Messenger to chat and then wanted to cam for money and wanted your credit card. Some of the women chatting said the same lines over and over. More bots. I felt my stomach hit the floor.

I went out on the internet and googled the site and there were all the complaints. The same was said from the e-mails to the cam gals. All fake. All a scam. I canceled my subscription and tried calling the company. Nothing. I notified bank of America of the company and the tactics. They sent me to the business fraud group. They were great.

I then went back to the site and posted all of the information about the site in my profile and also went out and created a female account, which I then found out had full function without paying a dime.

I posted all the fraud info and a link to the government website www.ic3.gov on my female profile and then started adding 100's of men's as my buddies. I got 100's of replies stating "thank-you" for exposing them there on their own site.

I also alerted the FBI and the Secret Service and they agreed that www.ic3.gov was the best way to report the site's activity!.

Daily I go out to check on the site, work the chat room to let the guys know who may have just joined and not know the truth". I hoped that eventually, the fraud team would get them, and today, I see the site is gone". I feel like I have made a difference against these scam artists". Hopefully, they will be gone for good and the other sites that seem to be similar (Fling!.com) will meet the same fate/.

I hope all that I helped will find this note as well and those who gave me their e-mail addresses I will follow up with once I am sure it is gone for good|.

Cheers and Happy St:. Paddy's Day! 30bf7d2

Just read the terms of service. In the terms they CLEARLY state that the place is full of scammers controlled by them.

See the terms and conditions section: VIII, E, 2

They really should update the article that is ranking so well, to give more up to date info that is not 4 years old, maybe an addendum at the end explianing you are preserving the content etc, but here is how the story has eveloved.

I got sucked in too! Not once but twice the first time with a money order that was "lost" so finally I paid thru visa the second time! I should have realized that too many profiles were from small towns near me and that the percentage didn't add up! I thot maybe remote areas had lonelier women!! "STUPIID ME" ! After I paid - most of the emails stopped even though I answered to about 40 of them - NOT ONE returned mine

I joined without paying and would receive 10 to 20 messages a day. I live in a rural community and honestly do know everyone that lives here. So it was obvious that it was a scam when I received messages from where I have lived for over 30 years. Don't have lots of time to waste but did see and read the disclaimer. I would post my e-mail addreess on my profile and comment about the scam that it is, but of course the messages kept coming with generic comments. When something appears too goo to be true, it is. Was very lucky that I did not get suckered into paying and before I join any site, I first check to see how to cancel.

It has been awhile, but I am very sure that I was putting a profile onto this site. When I was done, I ended up by being looged onto SpeedBoink.com
Well, there is no shortage of mail from eager and willing females that want to hook up if for no other reason than to ***. I replied to each and every mail that I recieved. Trouble was, is that that was the end of the line. There are no one on the other end to recieve whatever mail that I sent back. No response from any of them.
So, it would appear that AmateurMatch.com and SpeedBoink.com are one and the same, or else seemingly closely related.
Doesn't it suck that here we are trying to find someone to compliment our lives, and all's we do is end up by getting burned, or scammed?

Yep, I too am a victim of Amatuermatch.com. I won't bother repeating everything that's already been said in this thread. All of it is true. I'm not a lawyer, and I have read the disclaimer, but it seems to me this site is misrepresenting themselves as a dating site when they are nothing more than a paid *** site. If they were a real dating site, then members would have the possibility of actually meeting someone real who is close to them, not just phony profiles of women who claim to be close by, and women who are trying to sucker you for even more money to watch them perform on a webcam. At the very least, there should be limit on the number of real vs. fake profiles on the site. And even then, the phonies should not be allowed to falsify where they are located. and fake *** girl text me on my cell phone want me to send them money how thay got my cell phone ### i dont know thay need to stop :( :zzz

Never signed up for anything and this Amateur Match is bombarding me with emails. Filled a complain with the FTC. Don't know if it will do any good. When I'm in Las Vegas, I'll go to their office.

I use a wifi at home, but have a 4G network that comes with my computer that identifies me as being in another city. I noticed when I switched to the 4G network that the women were the same, but the names of the cities changed.

I joined either Untrue or AmateurMatch (they have the same people including OCs on both sites, and I've been propositioned by the same OC on both sites, so your data gets passed around. Be careful.

So far, I've been a member of both sites for about 6 weeks and NEVER had a person contact me who wasn't an OC. They pestered me into joining a new site (LocalCheaters), but I'll give them my credit card when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers. For a personal picture, I put up Alfred E. Neuman, which they took down a couple of times. I keep putting it back up, plus my profile has certain ... oddities ... that should prove amusing. Hey, I was dumb enough to give them money, at least I can have a few laughs at their expense. I wonder how many times I'll have to put Alfred up again. Time will tell...

AM took a bit to figure out, but only the men seem to be real. I know there are real women on it, but the amount is small. All the gorgeous women are either fake profiles, cam girls, or exhibitionists. AM uses what they call "Online Cupids", fake profiles trying to entice men to subscribe. Their profiles will have a gold coin in the upper right with an"OC" in it. If you click on the coin you will read all the fine print, and if you scroll down to "E" it will tell you about their fake "OC" profiles. I also tried to tell men about it, but I think AM got wise and muted my profile. Any messages I sent out were shown as successfully sent but I never got one reply back, no matter what the subject matter was. Half the time, even when I had the corect code to send a message they said it didn't match. Men, save your money and go to a reputable dating site.

I read Bsmithcbc's and J Aulbach's comments about amateurmatch.com and though I know not to join any of these type's of sites I never knew they could steal from you without at least giving something for them to use first. Thanks for the heads up!
