I recently did the Advocare 24 day challenge, I would say, it worked great, so great, I ended up hospitalized!.I followed the directions to the letter, and I lost 50 pounds in 17 days !!

That's right, I lost nearly 3 pounds per day on average'. Since I started taking the product, I have become ill EVERYTIME I try to eat;. I have vommitted boiled chicken, chicken broth, water, spark, you name it, I barfed it;. Most illness and weightloss occurred between day 8 and 17,.

I went to the hospital I was malnurished and severly dehydrated!. I had to be given fluids and spent a week and a half after on a liquid diet;. I am eating real food for the first time today, I have been off the product for 9 days, and after eating, my stomach still hurt a little; but I have not regurgitated today/.

Maybe this product works for some, but for me, it caused my system to go completely out of whack!Good luck if you are taking this product, I hope you get good results and don't end up hospitalized as I did. 306ba63

I actually had to laugh when I read this. I'm very new to Advocare as I am a HUGE skeptic of the claims of any company. However, I saw an episode of Dr. Oz where they tested OTC supplements and Advocare was on top. There are NO regulations to OTC supplements, so what they say you're getting on the bottle is rarely the case. After independently testing multiple brands, Advocare's products actually held up to their claims (ie: they say you're getting 1000mg omega 3, you are actually getting it. Only 3 brands they tested could say that). This was what pushed me over the edge, besides personally knowing 5 people who use Advocare products with great success.
On the 24 day challenge, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to get dehydrated if you're actually following the suggestions. They suggest you drink, at a minimum, half of your body weight in water by ounces (if you weigh 200 lbs, that's 100 oz of water daily). That, in and of itself, completely discredits this person's post. The "dietary restrictions" are minimal. The first 10 days (cleanse) are the "most restrictive" and basically suggest DON'T EAT ***!! Eat tons of fruits and veggies, as much as you want. Lean protein 3 times a day. No sugars, white carbs, or anything else that HAS been proven by MULTIPLE sources to not be healthy. If you are obese, chances are you are going to drop some weight pretty quickly just by making these simple changes. The supplements are next to nothing on the cleanse. Fiber drink in the

I am on day 12 of the 24 Day Challenge. I love it! Some people may have allergic reactions; but that is the same as any other product... peanuts for instance. We don't band peanuts and a ton of people have issues with them. As far as the stomach being upset. As it was explained to me, you need to take the supplements at certain times. Some 30 before you eat and you must eat after 30 minutes because you can get an upset stomach... same with any certain medicines, I know people you love coffee and have to eat with it because coffee upsets their stomach. It is a lot of supplements to take, that your body will not be used to getting, so you have to follow the instructions... just because you may be allergic to something in it, does not mean it's a load of ***. It just means you are allergic. Take it for what it is people... remember how many people are allergic to peanuts and how sick they get, some even die. Should we band peanuts from everything in the world... no! This argument is so *** and irrational.

Complete outsiders opinion here, but oh honey, it sounds like you had another issue going on, NOT due to the nutritional products you say you were taking. You said the illness began on day 8 of taking stuff... so no problems before then? Obviously you just got sick and now think it was due to the products. That's sad... The only way I could believe this is if you have a note from the doctor stating that you had an allergic reaction to something. Otherwise, it was just bad luck that you got sick during that time frame.

Debbie, I've been trying to find ANY study published by Advocare showing that their products work.
Where is this R&D you speak of?

Advocare products are tested for over 200 banned substances. They come with a money back guarentee, and anything you want to know about the product ingredients, research or development you can find on their website, as well as a customer service 800 number to answer any questions or concerns. Can anyone tell me they get that from GNC? Or any retailer?

Overall I'm opposed to any multilevel marketing scheme and view supplements and energy drinks very skeptically. But a friend was selling advocare and I tried it because I'm morbidly obese and desperate to lose weight. Usually it's extremely difficult for me to stay on any diet. As soon as I start eating healthy I not only feel very ill, I also have constant hungry pains that make it difficult to think about anything but food. Worst of all, even if I suffer through the pain for several weeks, the scale refuses to budge beyond some insignificant loss of three pounds or so. With advocare I feel good, I lost 10 pounds in 15 days, I'm sleeping better and my joints are feeling much better despite not losing enough weight to make that big of difference. I only have one spark a day and I water it down with a couple of quarts instead of the 8 OSS they recommend. Despite the expense and perhaps inflated claims, this product is worth every penny if I manage to get my weight to a healthy level

I have also followed the plan, but spent the morning puking my guts up after the herbal cleanse. Not trying to be disrespectful to the products, but they are not working for me. My distributor has not been helpful so far. Hopefully things will get better.

Mike, why do you feel the need to insult an innocent part of the population with your comment "down syndrome ignorant"? Comments like that show only how ignorant you are, "buddy".

"I lost 50 pounds in 17 days !! That's right, I lost nearly 3 pounds per day on average!...Most illness and weightloss occurred between day 8 and 17"

If this really happened, YOU put yourself in the hospital, not the product. Anybody with a working brain would have stopped taking the product at day 9.

Eat right and exercise...stay away from pyramids. For every study that looks good, there are others that show the BS. Here's one that didn't take 10 seconds to find...but you can't post links here, so search google news. May 25, 2012...Bethel University Exercise Science students find that Advocare O2 claims are ***.

But you can't convince the tinfoil hats, no matter what...so why bother? They probably still wear skechers shape-ups even though the shoes have been proven to do NOTHING. "Oh, my calves feel tighter." yeah, no sh*t, Sherlock...

I just do NOT believe you...AdvoCare products are safe and effective. I've done AdvoCare for 15 years and have NEVER seen anyone get sick from it UNLESS the don't eat and take the multi vitamin and have a sensitive stomach. I've put 100's of people on these products and I take almost all of them. I am very healthy and to many pros who's body is their job and can afford to take whatever they want and they choose AdvoCare and we don't pay them to endorse or anything. You get support if you want it. Distributor Support and Customer Service 800-542-4800 and a free website with access to A LOT of info... AdvoCare is very good in every aspect. There are few companies out there with the integrity of this one.

I've been looking into Advocare as a viable business model as well as for my personal health and finding cases for and against it. We have some very trustworthy friends that have used the products without the intent to sell and after using the products some of their family and friends noticed how different they were both physically and with the amount of energy they had. They figured they may as well become distributors if people were going to try the products based on the noticeable difference it made in their lives.

As for me, I've done P90X and other workouts pretty hardcore and researched many, many supplements and products for building muscle and trimming down. I will say there are whey proteins you can get from Wal-mart as well as GNC and other nutrition stores. The difference you pay for between the cheap places and specialty stores is the quality of the ingredients put into the product. I'm a firm believer in the "you get what you pay for" ideology. Sure you can get all of the supplements cheaper somewhere else with a lower quality of product and fillers but it's all a personal choice. Some people don't mind sacrificing quality as a trade-off for things they put in their body. Don't get me wrong, I still love a slice of pizza and cheeseburger. I'm also extremely frugal which is why I'm researching Advocare (like everything else I've put in my body supplement-wise) but all the REAL evidence I've collected is showing me that they provide high

If you expect miracles than of course u are going to be disappointed this only helps in getting your eating habits on tract for the good. I feel great and have gotten back into clothes i havent worn in a a long time. It was'nt easy you have to work at it..Advocare is a tool not a cure. As for CWilds....sounds like you have other issues that could cause you to lose that much weight in 17 days, dont believe advocare could have done that unless you have health probs, anorexic or a liar.

I think the only people that has anything good to say about advocare is the ones standing on top of the pyramid because they are making money and money will make most anyone fell good about a product that is a bunch of expensive *** that is over rated and doesn't work.I cannot believe people pay 200 $ for something that makes them *** alot when they could eat right and exercise for 24 days and still do the same or better.
